Really good but a few issues

The new update to this app turned a good resource into a great one! Interface is very easy and streamlined, and the text is very accurate (based on my comparisons to a printed Vulgate and to the Gutenberg Bible). I use this app to keep my the app sharp during spare moments and to compare an older translation to my modern ones. Used in conjunction with a good the app dictionary, you can get a lot of meaning out of the particular word choices in this version and their ancient/medieval contexts.
My only problem is that it hasn’t been functioning too well lately. The options for disabling ads don’t work, my app crashes whenever I scroll past 2 Timothy in the menu (effectively cutting me off from accessing the last several books), and when the verse of the day does appear (which seems to be random) it is sometimes just a black screen. If these are fixed I will change my review to 5 stars, because this is otherwise an excellent app.

Good, but crashes

good app, in looks and content, but I can’t scroll past hebrews when trying to look at a new testament passage without the app crashing, everytime.

Good Except for One Thing

This is a great bible for those who are interested in the vulgate. The only drawback is there is no way that get this version ad free. Otherwise, a great bible. It would be awesome if an audio version came out as well.
