It’s great at what it does
By Tikishark (Pcmac user)
I’ve experienced very little issues with this app. When I subscribed, I was able to access my magazines without any issue. However, for those people that would like free versions of the app magazines, all you need to do his download the app PDF from Magpi’s website in safari and then under the app shared tab send the app document to iBooks. You’ll have the app same experience as the app app.

Don’t buy if using iPhone!
By Humptybump (Pcmac user)
If you plan to read MagPi on an iPhone, DO NOT buy the app subscription. the app digital subscription is really only usable on a big screen. Even then I does not take advantage of the app screen orientation.
I sent the app developer a question asking if this was usable on iPhone - specifically if the app content formatted for the app screen. I never received a reply. I purchased a single issue to test. It is just a digital representation of the app magazine.
I want to support the app Raspberry Pi foundation but the app digital subscription is not a usable option.

Bad support
By Namelessbanana (Pcmac user)
Lost access to editions I had already paid for. Emailed support and after a week still no response. Cancelled my subscription and will just download the app free version from now on. If you’re going to take money for something that is normally free you need to provide a measurable advantage.

Don’t buy this 🙁
By AvengerPod (Pcmac user)
I commend the app raspberry pi foundation’s commitment to free education by making the app PDF issues available for free on the app raspberry pi web site, but the app PDF download button is disabled in the app mobile app. Why discriminate against mobile app users vs. laptop users? 🙁
