1. Progress is developed by Tim Garbos from Copenhagen Game Collective, Joel Nyström from Swedish games studio Ludosity and Martin Kvale from Norwegian games studio Krillbite.

2. “It's the sort of brilliant party piece, where you just want to show it to someone who hasn't played it before, and watch the cogs turn in their head, and see their eyes light up when they try out their silly solutions.

3. Follow the playful and puzzling clues - use creative movements, sounds, and touch to find solutions.

4. The best experience is to show the game to a group of friends and see them struggle while you stand smiling, knowing all the solutions.

5. Progress is 100 playful and puzzling moments in the life of your iPhone or iPad.

6. It’s just hilarious to look at each other acting silly and crazy while playing the game.

7. Progress is a premium game with no ads or in-app purchases.

8. Progress will take you for a stroll on the beach, diving underwater, and even rocking out at a concert.

9. The game is not that long, but it's very unique and if you look closely you can find some extra secret levels here and there.

10. Visuals and interactions are characterized by simplicity, minimalism and functionality, true to Scandinavian design.

11. The beautifully handcrafted sounds and music will tickle your curiosity and guide you through the puzzles.

  • It's OK

    By JH70706 (Pcmac user)

It's not bad, but I've spent 99¢ better elsewhere. I'm a bit surprised at the hundreds of 5 ⭐️ reviews though. Maybe it's because rating the game is PART of the game, and you do it right after "tickling" it, which must be so much fun... I don't mean to be negative, but I'm about 60% done with the game, and I'm just tired of it. It's interesting to try to figure out what to do, but the video on the purchase screen gives away the idea behind what you're supposed to do and takes away the challenge. I doubt I'd ever open it again, so I'll just say it was a 99¢ lesson and remove it as clutter. Not awful, just not for me. Kudos to the developers for their success with it. 👍🏻
  • Very stylish, but not inventive enough

    By Puzzle Prime (Pcmac user)

This is one of the many games in which you must use various feature of your phone to complete tasks based on some cryptic clues. The presentation is very minimalistic and stylish, but unfortunately most of the levels are not inventive enough. More than half of them require literal interpretation and not any amount of original thought. A bunch of them also repeat throughout the game ("go from a to b", "go to a from b", "go from a to b through c", etc). Overall, I don't think the experience is worth $0.99. If the developers add at least 200 more levels, I would be willing to update my rating to 5 stars.
  • I'm addicted

    By Duhitzcarleighsartorius (Pcmac user)

I have had this game for 2 days now. I am on level 59. What happens when I beat it? Any ways this is the best 99¢ I've spent in my entire life. This is a great way to help calm me. I'm usually so bored when I'm on my phone but now this app makes me just crave to be on my phone. I sometimes get a little anxious and annoying, so when someone yells at me I just resort myself to this game. Best invention ever!! Hope they make a the app 2!!
  • Strange but fun

    By popculturemom (Pcmac user)

I got this app for free, and it stayed on my phone forever before I finally decided to open it. At first, I was confused because there are no instructions. Luckily, the first couple of plays are easy enough to figure out that no instructions are needed. It's a cute little game. A complete time waster, no doubt. I don't think I would have paid to own it, but for a free app [thanks, Starbucks!], it's not bad at all. I'm not sure how enjoyable it'll be to play again after I get to 100%, but we will cross that bridge when I get to it.
