What is Earworm? The Earworm app is a song prediction effect that can be performed with a borrowed phone. The performer asks the spectator to open YouTube on their phone, plays a song, and then apparently transmits the thought-of song to the spectator. The spectator names the first song that comes to mind, and the predicted song is playing on their phone. The routine can be performed in person or remotely, and the app supports multiple input methods and services.

Software Features and Description

1. Rather than taking the spectator’s phone to make your prediction, you now can send your spectator a link to a video, tell them to open it but to not press play just yet.

2. - You then take your friend's phone and play a song, returning the phone to your friend with its screen facing downwards.

3. - You ask a friend to take out their phone, mute the volume and open YouTube.

4. Video and audio broadcasting of any description (including TV, radio and Internet) of this effect is prohibited without the written consent of its creator.

5. - Now you apparently mentally transmit the thought-of song to your friend.

6. You then proceed to perform Earworm as usual, using any of the available input methods.
