Download and install the Paychex Time app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Paychex Time on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Paychex Time"
- The search will reveal the Paychex Time app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Paychex Time is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Paychex Time.
- Now enjoy Paychex Time on PC.

- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Paychex Time:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Paychex Time" » Click "Install" to install Paychex Time

Worst app on my phone

This app has never opened on the first try. Ever. Every now and then there will be a baffling update where they rename lunch or the background color changes, but you know what never changes? Having to open and close the app, sometimes two or three times, every morning, twice at lunch, and evening. There’s a new feature that logs you out every ten days, so sometimes you get to close the app three times, then enter your info again, which is awesome.
Do you like talking to the people in HR? We’ll get used to talking to them all the time if your job is strict about clock-ins. I generally start trying to open it 3-4 minutes before I need to punch in or out, which is a super efficient use of my time. Luckily, if you have this app you probably have no choice because your job requires it, so at least there’s that

Need Notification Option

Easy interface, but...I always forget to clock out or even sometimes to clock in. I really wish there were a notification option so we can set reminders to open the app when we schedule a time to clock in or out or even lunch notification as a reminder to start meal or end meal. It would be easy to get that notification like we get a notification on the app flex to view our incoming check.

It is the best system I have ever seen. The bottom line is easy to use. It is friendly for a person like me who does not know much about technology. It is not challenging for an ordinary person.

Efficient and Easy!

We use the app for 3 different office locations, so it’s great to have the ability to “clock in” wherever we may be working for the day. The only problem is that sometimes the app takes a while to load, so you end up missing out on about 5 minutes of paid work time. Not a super big deal, but 5 minutes throughout the day, on multiple days adds up.
