Too many ads, other bugs

C'mon! I just had 3 pop-up ads in less than a minute. No more - sadly deleted! This app has much to admire with the information presented, ease of tracking many different sites, ability to position exactly where you want to track radar for each site. However the insidious and ever increasing number of pop-up ads with loud sound suddenly bursting out keeps me away from using it. You already have an ad running at the top of the screen; don't be so greedy. On top of it all, if you're looking at the radar screen when a pop up pops up, upon closing that ad the radar is reduced to a half screen on my iPad. You have to close it and then re-open to see the full radar. No thank you.

I really liked this app until they did an update that isn't compatible with iPhone 5, now it doesn't work with my phone. Hello!!! Some of us in Connecticut still have iPhone 4 or 5, and your apps should be compatible with older model phones until they are no longer realistically still being used.

So I did the app update a week ago and now the videos won’t play.... frustrating!

Don't get me wrong, I very much enjoy this app. It supplies a wealth of knowledge of the weather, and I love the lay out. And it is much easier to navigate the weather than the regular WTNH-News 8 app. However, there are quite a few bugs. Half of the time when I try to open this app, it brings me to the opening screen & then closes by itself. The videos need work. They play and pause and I manually push play and they keep pausing. But the biggest problem with the videos is there is NO SOUND! No matter how loud I turn my device up-no audio. The problem with just about every link, panel or aspect of the WXEdge app, it works about 50% of the time. If these technical issues are fixed, this could be one the greatest weather apps out there. For iPhone users, our pre-installed weather app is "The Weather Channel". But if improvements are made to make WXEdge fully functioning, I would much rather prefer to use it as my "go to" weather app!
