Top Pcmac Reviews

  • Cleverly made, and easy to use

    By markee0 (Pcmac user)

This app has the potential to be a great todo app considering the number of features it comes packed with. All it needs a little bit polishing. I like using the app very much and jot down all my todos in it. The iPhone version of this app is even more easy to use. Good app overall. Has the potential to be the best.
  • Colorful, somewhat cutomizeable but font is too big

    By Iron Sandi (Pcmac user)

I wanted a fairly straightforward to-do list app that was eye-catching and complex enough to allow me to enter sub-tasks and freely shift and prioritize items. This app does just that and provides for reminders and the option of adding to-do items to a calendar. Nice. My only issue so far (I just bought the app) is that I can’t adjust the font. I seem to be stuck with Avenir 20 pt. Bold in the Notes section for headers and 16 pt. Regular (Book) for the body of notes and to-do list items in the center. Preferences only offers Backup and Restore. If I’m doing work on my laptop in public I don’t need to broadast my todo list to anyone glancing at my screen from 10 feet away. In a future release I’d like to be able to adjust (shrink) the font size.
  • constantly nags me about location tracking

    By fwoomp (Pcmac user)

This app constantly nags me with a popup dialog about location tracking. The thing is, I’m on an Ethernet connection, but location tracking only works via wifi. Using this app is rendered very annoying because every single time I switch back to it, I get a popup message saying "Unable to track the location / check that you actually have a valid WiFi and 3G connection." This is ridiculous, considering that I’m on a desktop wired into the network. It’s not going anywhere. Besides, I don’t plan to use any map/location features, so I should have the option to forego all location tracking. As for the app, it looks ok. I find it a bit off-putting that whenever I create a new list, it says, "What’s on list Today!" This sounds a bit silly and out of place because the rest of the app isn’t silly. It should say something more serious, such as "Enter a new list name here." I also would have liked to be able to hide the Inbox and Recent groups. A more concise view would also be nice—I don’t really need to have the group list showing all the time. As long as the app keeps pestering me like this, there is no way I will use this app at all. I am very disappointed.
