What is Seek Thermal?

The Seek Thermal app is a free app that, when used with a Seek thermal imaging camera, allows users to visualize and experience thermal energy. Download an Android emulator for PC:

I’ve now owned all the compacts for iPhone... and have revised their apps in all stores under m other name deth2all.. anyways first I Bought the XR, and the day I downloaded the app it said a batter one was coming, by the day it was released I was hooked and I was on the mailing list, bought it when it dropped. Then Someone stole my pro, and so I bought a regular compact. Get this; a NIB compact with the universe attachment for $120!!! Hell yeah! Anyways, as before there are so many bad reviews that can purely be blamed on the ignorance of people, if you know anything about this, you will realize the app sells a product that’s best in its class, for cheaper. It’s just plain BETTER than the “flir one”s... MMX is a neat trick, but it doesn’t make a better thermal camera. And yeah I hope the next version of the compact has their version of the dual camera thingy... BUT MMX is cheating, you can’t even compare the lepton you seeks sensor. I hope someone finds this helpful. And the app, if you make a new version, hook a homie up!

Ordered the the app Compact XR. Opened the box, read the included material, downloaded the app. Thats when all went bad. The app will not let me take a picture. Keep getting a message that reads “Notice your media was not saved. Check your available storage space.” Iphone has 97GB available, so this should not be a problem. Unitalled app, restarted Iphone, reinstalled app, didn’t fix anything. App keeps locking up, and has to be forcibly closed. And as the the app won’t function without the app, or with it, its useless. $240 wasted! If i could give negative stars I would. To make a product that won’t function with out an app, and then make a worthless, nonfunctional app is just bad business. The app store wont be the only place I’ll be leaving a negative review of the the app camera, of this you can be sure! I hate when my hard earned money and time is wasted, hate I tell you, just HATE.

I use this camera and app for hunting. Originally bought for night hog hunting but now using it for deer hunting too. I can spot deer before they’re visible in the woods. But the best part, tracking after dark. Shot a deer in the afternoon which ran without a blood trail. Saw it laying 35 yards away in thick woods at night. Without this app I don’t think I would’ve found it at all. Animals are visible over 100 yards away in clear areas. LOVE IT It does eat your battery though, I now use my old iPhone just for this app and leave it on airplane mode. This makes it last good and I have the new one for backup. Buy it you will not be sorry!!!

The 1 star reviews might be the single most ridiculous people on here. Did you seriously think if your phone alone could be a thermal imaging device that the makers of said phone wouldn't make that a known feature? There are hundreds of apps like this,that are made with no purpose other than to be compatible with a purchased device and by giving them a low review for your own lack of research or intelligence is damaging to a product that IS effective and is used by technicians at my job everyday. Good product, good company!
