Game Features and Description

1. To customize button bindings, go to iDOS in landscape mode, tap on bluetooth icon on the auto-hiding top bar.

2. iDOS turns your device right into a powerful DOS gaming PC, with modern game control to make your old favorites as playable as possible.

3. iDOS provides a PC compatible on-screen keyboard with carefully designed layouts for different devices and orientations.

4. The keyboard has a sliding control in landscape mode so that you can keep it from covering critical part of the screen.

5. iDOS provides a virtual gamepad with key bindings that are fairly common in DOS games.

6. The screen area serves as a trackpad for moving mouse pointer.

7. You can also use iDOS for non-gaming purposes, such as word processing, casual programming.

8. Hold one finger on the screen, and tap with another finger for right click.

9. If direct touch is enabled, the mouse pointer will move to where you tap.

10. External bluetooth game controllers are supported.

11. Make sure your game controller is connected (System Settings->Bluetooth).

Install iDOS 2 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using iDOS 2 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iDOS 2"
The search will reveal the iDOS 2 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iDOS 2 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iDOS 2.
Now enjoy iDOS 2 on PC.

Can't load games

This app looks like it used to be good, but not being able to load my own dos games into it with my ipad air 2, and no keyboard support for games makes it a no go. Luckily I only paid .99 for it so I am not too worried. I will keep it for now with the hope that it will be updated to work. Honestly I wish most games had keyboard support and customizable controls. Thanks for making this and look forward to the next update or two.
Don't buy it.

I really wanted to like this app. But I should have listened to the others' reviews. It just isn't it. Despite the fact that it is hard to import your files, the fact that the app store mentions landscape mode which doesn't work with the virtual controller displayed on top of the screen makes the app completely pointless. If you really wanted to play your childhood favorites on your iPhone, you'll have to wait some more. Another weird thing is that I was charged $2.99 for this app when it should have been $0.99. It may not have to do anything with the developer but this really adds to my frustration.
Works well, but can't load apps

It's not the developer's fault and I should have realized it before I purchased, but the inability to load you own games makes the app fairly useless to me. I just wanted to play simearth :(

Is very nostalgic to me to play Dave 2 just like I used to when I was a little girl but now in my tablet anywhere I want to, the game runs great and you can even pretend to play on a keyboard displayed on the screen (you’ll be missing those clicking sounds) or you can chose a joystick control or a control with buttons. This app is so much fun, very well done.
