1. Press any date on the calendar for the weekly Torah and haftarah portions in English text.

2. All Scripture passages are displayed in English, in a modified version of the World English Bible (public domain).

3. Compete text of the Torah included, broken down by weekly parasha.

4. All Holy days, Sabbaths, New Moons, and fast days are identified, along with the traditional Scripture passages.

5. Daily aliyah text is also included for every date.

6. Moadim HD displays the Jewish religious calendar.

7. Look up any month/year in common or Hebrew date.

8. Parashiot follow Ashkenazi Diaspora rules.

9. Includes online commentary on the portion for the week.

10. Prayer times are displayed for dates/location.

Install Moadim HD app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Moadim HD"
The search will reveal the Moadim HD app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Moadim HD is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Moadim HD.
Now enjoy Moadim HD on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Moadim HD,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Moadim HD" » then Click "Install".
- Moadim HD will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Feature request

Too soon for a review, but some obviously missing features. 1) A "Today" button to jump (back) to today. 2) Yizkor dates 3) set up recurring Yarhzeit dates 4) search for holidays
Faithful to the sidra

The app is faithful to the sidra, including the biblical text for each day in preparation for the Torah reading on Shabbat. It was not developed by “missionaries.” It does include commentary for the portion, but if you don’t like the commentary, don’t press the commentary button.

The calendar itself is fine but the commentary on the weekly parsha quotes from the New Testament.
