To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Jaguar InControl Apps,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed

Worst app ever

I have tried to use this app for 2 1/2 years. In the beginning it worked well with only a few bugs. But with each iOS update it has never been able to keep current. And for all practical purposes it’s been totally worthless and unusable for the last 14 months. Despite following dealership advice and deleting and reinstalling the app 3 or 4 times. The dealership acknowledges that it’s a software problem that the Jag corporate software vendor has not been able to fix for more than a year. As other reviewers have written, don’t waste your time even downloading the app. It’s useless. And the Hag executive who had the brilliant idea that JLR should create their own interface instead of using apple car play should be fired
Horrible

This app is the least functional car interface I have ever used. I have had my the app for about 9 months. I cannot do anything in regards to text messages or emails (the dealership told me the app “doesn’t play well with iPhones) the music interaction for iTunes for example is clunky and inefficient. And worse than all that is that it constantly disconnects me when I am trying to listen to a podcast. Basically anything to do with connecting to my phone either doesn’t work or works so badly that I give up on it. Why would the app create their own app instead of using the fully functional Apple car play or Google? Makes no sense. It’s incredibly frustrating in such and expensive and otherwise great car.
Complete Garbage

I’ve seen some terrible apps over the years, but this one is close to the top of being one of the worst. It is complete garbage - well intentioned, but very poorly executed. If I even attempt to use it (since the latest iOS update), my phone and intouch system both completely freeze. The iPhone can at least be rebooted, the Jag... nope - you have to pull over somewhere to turn off the car, exit, lock the doors, then get back in for the system to restart and unfreeze. This app needs either a major update or to just be sent to the abyss with the rest of the obsolete apps. Amazing that the connectivity between my phone and car is much better in a $20k rental car than an $80k high end vehicle.
Obsolete when new

the app are undermining their fine cars with an obsolete and useless App. the app - if you read these reviews know that customers like me who have spent $100k on a car are frustrated with products that are clearly not consistent with the brand or coat. I would prefer to have nothing rather than an infuriating piece of crap App that claims to do something, then doesn’t. Please don’t install or offer obsolete technology. I will not buy another the app that has this technology (or that uses AT&T for an obsolete 3G wireless hotspot). Owners - don’t install the App on your phone, don’t use it, don't launch it. It will not enhance your driving experience. Potential owners - if in-car technology (beyond a fabulous automobile) is important to you ... try the navigation, music playback, and some of the smart features on incontrol before you buy. For comparison try the same things on a $20k Subaru. The Jag tries and fails. The Subaru (and any other car that uses Apple CarPlay) simply replicates your phone on the screen and you are good to go.
