Install MOVIST app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using MOVIST on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MOVIST"
The search will reveal the MOVIST app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MOVIST is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MOVIST.
Now enjoy MOVIST on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native MOVIST Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use MOVIST,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "MOVIST" » then Click "Install".
- MOVIST will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Pretty decent

Like everyone else says... The UI/UX is a bit weak. You have to tap on the movie's metadata menu (which is a circle because...?) separately for each piece of data you wanna add... Waste of time. Just the most glaring example of the idiosyncratic design decisions sprinkled throughout. You need another app just to read the comments? Seriously?! The one missing feature for me is that there are no DVD/streaming release dates listed for movies in my watch list. I don't want to see everything in the theaters and I'd love to get a push notification when a movie is added to Netflix/iTunes/etc.
App crashes

****annoyingly bad app. Too many crashes per hour***** I recently was forced to switch apps for my collection of nearly 1000 movies because my last app went out of business. This app was promising yet a quarter of the way through adding my movies it started crashing at random times and very frequently. As I was entering them manually and didn’t want to start over I soldiered on thinking there was maintenance or that it may be because I needed to update my phone and app. I finished my log updated my phone checked for app maintenance or update and everything was up to date. The app continues to crash randomly and constantly a handful of time in as little as 10 minutes. I’ve emailed support a few times and never received any contact back.
Decent, but needs improvement

App works decently, but with just some slight tweaks, it could be a fantastic cataloging system. At times films I’ve added to my collection will disappear the next time I open the app, and I will have to re-add them. But that has improved over time. But one of it’s most annoying issues the cover art. It’s just really jarring to see cheap fan made art or odd images on some films instead of the film’s actual poster or at least a consistent style of cover art throughout. It just kinda cheapens it. Easy tweaks that would make it esthetically nicer to move through.
Crashes on iOS 13

Has been good until iOS 13. Since then crashes right after launch every time. Hopefully they can fix soon.
