✔ Pros:

- Easy and quick setup process

- Lagging issues when something moves in the view

- Latency of at least 200ms, not suitable for live use for anything dynamic

- Only works with its own viewer, cannot be used for other applications such as Skype or Photobooth

- App freezes or drops frequently, making it unreliable for use as a security system

Worked very well First Time Setup

I was a llittle skeptical due to I've used several of these type Cam/Viewer Apps before. This one for me worked like It was advertised with very little to none setup other than load Iphone app; load Mac App; ensure both on the same network; started the Mac app then started the Iphone app and took about 20 seconds and connected. I'm using Iphone 6, MacBook Pro 13 inch. My wifi is pretty fast so did not suffer a lot of lag. Slightly lagged if something moved in the view nothing to disrupt usiig it for security monitor. Sound is oK. The video started at 480 but it gave me the choice to go 720 which it was clearer but if lighting is good 480 was fine. Not very good in low low light, not night vision. Using any light source will help but, NOT A NIGHT TIME CAMERA. 'Viewing 4 cams is nice if you have old phones to use, recommend plug power supply to cams if using for extended use. A good, cheap monitoring lsystem.

Installed and had it up and running in 30 seconds. No preferences to fuss around with, just started the apps (ipad mini frist gen, first then mbp running osx 10.9 next) and it works. I already had my laptop and ipad on the same wifi network. There’s at least 200ms of latency (estimated), so not so good for live use for anything dynamic. But good enough for general wireless cam use around the theatre and home.

Support page is a fake help. The app does not work for any length of time. Constantly freezing or dropping, I paid money for the HD version too, on my iPhone6s Plus. Both my phone and Laptop have current software latest OS + iOS. I have a robust wireless network, but the app cuts out and stops every few minutes then it will work for an hour. I couldn’t ever leave home and use this as a security system. Waste of time and money if you ask me. And when was the last update? 2013

downloaded the app on my phone. downloaded the desktop app and it connected immediately. super easy. works great! but it doesn’t appear to work with anything but it’s own viewer. can’t use it for skype or photobooth or anything else. which was my intended purpose. so. i guess it’s neat for security or a baby monitor. but that’s it. can’t communicate with it.
