What is Qu-Pad? Qu-Pad V1.95 is an app designed for iPad that provides wireless control for Allen & Heath Qu range of digital mixing consoles. It allows the sound engineer to control the mix from anywhere in the room or stage. The app can work simultaneously with the Qu mixing console to provide independent control of functions. The Qu mixer supports up to 8 connections to iOS devices, with a maximum of two running Qu-Pad.

Software Features and Description

1. An Allen & Heath Qu-16, Qu-24, Qu-32, Qu-Pac or Qu-SB mixing console running V1.9* version firmware, with a suitable wireless router or access point connected to its Network port.

2. Qu-Pad and the Qu mixing console can work together to provide simultaneous control of independent functions, for example one engineer using the console to mix front-of-house sound and another using the iPad to mix monitors on stage.

3. The Qu mixer firmware and Qu-Pad app maintenance version numbers do not need to be identical, for example Qu-Pad V1.95 will run with Qu mixer V1.91. Refer to the Allen & Heath web site for more information and to download the latest Qu mixer firmware.

4. Qu-Pad provides full wireless control for Qu range of digital mixing consoles giving the engineer the freedom to walk the room or stage and control the mix right where it is needed.

5. The Qu mixer supports a maximum of 8 connections to iOS devices with up to two of these running Qu-Pad and the others running the Qu-You Personal Monitor app or Qu-Control app, which are also available free from the Apple Store.

6. This version provides full remote control of the Qu including all mixing and setup functions.

7. This version is for Allen & Heath Qu mixers running V1.9* firmware.

Download and install the Qu-Pad app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Superb Mixing App

Name one app that comes even close to this in the world of digital mixing. I’m trained on YAMAHA, Midas/Behringer, AVID, Soundcraft, QSC +, and I guarantee Allen and Heath provides the easiest and most logically functional mixing system, especially this main engineering app. The layout makes sense, just like their boards, and seems to be designed by real live engineers. The custom strips allow a lot of flexibility and you can make your life easier by creating a functional layout per your needs. The app is actually more powerful than the standard capability of the Qu mixers. I never like to mix without it, and I actually prefer to have hands on the board AND iPad to make mixing the easiest and smoothest. I’ve never had the issues that others complain about in some of these reviews. If WiFi is failing it has little to do with the mixer or app, and most likely the quality and setup of the router. Netgear is recommended but I’ve had success with several other brands. A+A+A+

I like the layout just a little better than the Behringer App; However, I really miss the onboard real time analyzer that the Behringer has. Could you add that functionality eventually? That would pretty much make yours the winner in a shootout between the two. As it is, there’s features on both that I like though I think the Allen and Heath is just a little easier to use. It also is the most visually appealing but that’s kind of trivial. Figuring out how to put reverbs on your AUX sends is equally challenging for both boards.

This app is absolutely amazing! Works great, but it does need one thing, a feature for plugging headphones in and listening to what is going on! Like an in-ear monitor! This would makes it so much better!
Need upgrade.

I want to give this app four stars or five stars. But I’m on able to give 2 because my firmware is 1.93 on my brand new Qu-32 board. And the app is 1.92 I need the app updated quickly I can use it today. Next 10 minutes it’s not too soon. :-)
