Got this at Christmas in a Pollyanna. The app is a horrible, constantly crashing. Really this is just a silly invention. Dollar store junk.

Does App Store suppress negative reviews? I want the app to refund the $50 I spent on their appliance since I can no longer use it to find wind speed. I don't have time to jack around with logging into an app when I need to know the wind speed, just so the app can do social networking games. When I need to know wind speed, I'm sailing offshore out of range of the Internet - not the time to be told "you have to sign in so we can provide advanced features". I could care less about "advanced features"! I need to know the speed of the wind. I don't need access to the Internet to find that out. The the app appliance is useless without the app and, at this point, without access to the Internet. What naive product manager approved that brilliant concept? I want my money back...
Works Well but Very Basic

I just purchased a this app for use with my iPhone 5 to check wind speed when kite flying on the beach. It works exceedingly well… simple, high quality, and durable. Be sure and check it out if you're into any activity where knowing the wind speed would be helpful or interesting. This app works perfectly, but is very basic with only the ability to display current and mean windspeed over a brief period of time. There's no ability to save, share, or export wind speed recording sessions. It's a good start but could be so much better with a little more time and effort. Personally I wouldn't mind paying for a "pro" version offering the features I already mentioned and more.
