Install Plates by Splitwise app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Plates by Splitwise on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Plates by Splitwise"
The search will reveal the Plates by Splitwise app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Plates by Splitwise is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Plates by Splitwise.
Now enjoy Plates by Splitwise on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Plates by Splitwise,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Plates by Splitwise" » then Click "Install".
- Plates by Splitwise will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- Easy sharing of meal expenses with friends

- App apportions tax and tip by individual diner's total

- Dragging items to individual diners automatically sums them up

- Ability to stack completed plates for another total

- Helps avoid uncomfortable situations of splitting the bill evenly

☹ Cons:

- Math is wrong on the new "combine plates" feature

- Sharing totals by text or email needs improvement

- No export to Splitwise function

- No option to specify tip amount by $ rather than percentage

- No option to specify total paid including tip and letting the app recognize the amount over the total due as the tip.

Fantastic; absolutely the most useful app of is kind

Makes sharing the city of a meal with friends a breeze. App apportions tax and tip by the individual diner's total (when I first tried this app about 6 months ago, the sales tax was done as an even split by the number of fingers. Kudos to the developers for fixing this). I love this because dragging items one by one to the individual diners automatically sums them up. No need for another calculator to be open. Another nice feature is that you can stack the completed this app for another total, like when two diners want to pay together as one.
Math issue

Love this app, but the math is wrong on the new "combine this app" feature— I tested it with 4 people, a $10 bill with $1 tax and 10% tip for a total of $12... I split evenly which correctly showed $3 each... But when I combined all this app the amount on the this app jumped to $15. (More info on the this app revealed the subtotal to be $13 when it should have been $10.) UPDATE: I found the error only occurs when you drag an already combined set of this app onto a single plate or another set. If you drag only single this app onto others, it adds up correctly. Thanks for the input!
Thrilled! (Needs Update Please!!!)

Love this app! Hopefully it will help avoid the uncomfortable "Let's just split the bill evenly" when all I had was a salad and soda while the rest of you went to town with a Filet Mignon and House Wine. Please update the app!!! Everything works great up until you get to sharing the totals by either text or email. The buttons off the screen on the iPhone 6 Plus. Otherwise great. A cheap work around has been to screenshot the screen and text that instead. Not elegant but still, Update PLEASE!!!
Great except for a few missing features

Really like this app, and love using it. I wish it allowed 2 things: (a) an export to splitwise function, so I could send the final meal cost distribution to splitwise when the tab is (as if so often is) part of a larger set of group expenses, and (b) an option to specify the tip amount by $ rather than by percentage, and/or an option to specify the total paid including tip and letting the app recognize that the amount over the total due was the tip.
