1. Unlike apps that require the user to manually program a sequence of chords, Auto Chord automatically detects chord notes and uses the information to control a pad synth, which is included in the app.

2. The chord detector uses a model based approach to pick the best chord based on harmonic similarity and complexity.

3. Auto Chord is a "chord follower" that automatically generates chord accompaniment from live music.

4. The internal pad synth is based on our xMod FM synthesis technology.

5. A touch sensitive sound space controls timbre of the instrument.

6. Other controls change register, decay, and portamento.

7. N.B. Although the app works with most music, it is essential the music be "in tune" (A4 = 440 Hz).

8. It is also best to minimize percussion and ambient noise.

Install Auto Chord app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using Auto Chord on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Auto Chord"
The search will reveal the Auto Chord app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Auto Chord is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Auto Chord.
Now enjoy Auto Chord on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Auto Chord,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Auto Chord" » then Click "Install".
- Auto Chord will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Let me be among the first to save you three bucks. No matter what I did I could not get this thing to work – not at all. It is completely worthless from concept to execution. Go to help and you will discover that although it tells you how to operate it on the PC and the Mac that's very little help send us your obviously on an iPad. Not a word about how to use it there. Developer gives you the impression that you can use any form of live music, songs, instruments, etc. No matter what I did it would not respond. Also if you want to use recorded music you'd better be prepared to pay for it on iTunes, because there is no way to go anywhere else (i.e., Dropbox) and pick up an MP3. Useless. Useless. Useless. I'm only giving it one star because I have to In order to submit this.

Doesn't work for chords nor single notes..high notes..low notes..doesn't matter..inaccurate and a waste of money!
