Install MagicHue app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using MagicHue on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MagicHue"
- The search will reveal the MagicHue app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once MagicHue is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MagicHue.
- Now enjoy MagicHue on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native MagicHue Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use MagicHue,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "MagicHue" » then Click "Install".
- MagicHue will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Amazing app can't recommend enough! For the people who can't get it to work just like with any other hue app you have to pair I with your bridge!!

Now it only shows me 0 connected lights. Too bad...
Update: reinstalled the apps and now it works, it shows me all my lights.

I'm diggin' This App, Man!

I had the old-school color organs back in the late 70's and early 80's. There were only the three colors (Red for Bass,Green for min-range, and Blue for Treble) whose brightness varied with the volume of its respective frequency range.
This App will rapidly randomize the colors, and is extremely responsive. Excellent for entertaining where you plan for a darkened, almost club-like atmosphere.
As another reviewer pointed out, the device with which you are running this app cannot be the device you use to play music. If this were possible, I would award it 5 stars. I'm sure it would be no easy feat to program in this ability without this app being the App that is also the music player.
But still, i really enjoy the speed at which the colors respond. Job well done.
