  • Not all that simple

    By PhelineCat (Pcmac user)

Drink x ml water daily is a myth! There's no hard data on it yet somehow it's entered our consciousness and become "truth". We're all different and have to be aware of that. For example, I had a terrible night about 12 years ago when I began seizing due to an electrolyte imbalance. I'd never had seizures before but a part of my brain knew what was going on even though the physician I saw was a moron and didn't. The nurse got me through the night and my knowledge of physiology got me through the next couple of days. Fast forward 10 years & I learned I have chronic low-sodium. I don't get to drink to satisfy thirst although I get to salt to my food. Sometimes I feel that strangeness in my brain that indicates I need to give myself a jolt of electrolytes and I mix up a packet of something that would be revolting to most, yet feels fantastic to me. It's not so simple as drink X amount of fluids. Sure, apps like this may be useful to track what you were drinking for purposes other than fulfilling the mythology and which case I applaud you.
  • Need history

I like the app but there is no way to see what have already entered. By see a history I can readily determine if I am drinking to much soda or did I enter my last drink. If you can add a history section I think it would be a good step forward.
  • Great!

I LOVE this app! It's the first app to give you so many drinking options and it shows you just how they affect your water intake. I have a few suggestions tho... There should be a way to manually input how many ounces, there should be a better breakdown of what you consume (tea is good for you but sugar and milk can change that a lot), and I would really like a way to go back and see what I entered. I drink A LOT of different beverages at once and sometimes I forget which ones I entered. Either way, I still love the app 😊
  • Great start!

I like this app and will probably continue to use it daily. I’d like to like it more. Please add HealthKit integration (read and write) so I don’t have to track water intake and weight separately -- please auto-convert or allow me to enter standard measurements). I like being able to touch buttons to enter liquid amounts, but I need more flexible denominations — my glass is 400ml. And what about other factors that affect hydration such as food and medications?
