If you want to install and use the The Simpsons™: Tapped Out app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type The Simpsons™: Tapped Out in the search bar and press Search. Click on The Simpsons™: Tapped Out application icon. A window of The Simpsons™: Tapped Out on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download on Andriod, Iphone
Free On iTunes
Download Android

Thank you for reading this tutorial. Have a nice day!

  • Worst Game Ever - Breaks With Zero EA Support

    By Toonz Muse
For a fun game, it is ruined by glitches, game lock outs, and content earned through playing the game is not given to the consumer. Often real money is spent on donuts to advance the game but the content is not received. E A is unresponsive and ineffectual to give you the missing content. Instead, they try to throw 10 donuts at you, then throw 30 donuts at you thinking that this fixes the issue when the game is still malfunctioning. Anyone else enjoy playing only to encounter glitches that EA or Apple cannot resolve? This isn’t rocket science...why is such a Big, Highly-Visible game allowed not to fix simple issues like adding the content you bought for your game. The point is to get the content earned not to get more donuts to buy non-existent content. In the latest zoo game, I earned a panda and elephant but did not receive them...then why offer them if a customer earns them and Simpson’ Tapped Out doesn’t deliver nor fix the issue causing the glitch? Cute game, lousy technical support, possible fraudulent tactics in ignoring paying customers. And what’s with only getting one square of land as a “gift” to expand your land when we all used to be able to use the faux cash earned through rents to buy lots of land at a time? Playing the game is less fun in 2018 and full of glitches. My recommendation, play at your own won’t get effective support from EA.

It's was always been a bit buggy. But with the latest update the iPhone6plus gets hot to hold and quits after about 5-15mins of play or switching 1-3 neighbor towns. This along with the lack of sales on premium currency, I've started phasing the game out. It's not worth the cost. On this game it should only cost 50% the max cost and and last you a year. When they had the sales it would save a good amount and would last most of the year. And as time went on the sales got better, though this trend would continue. But the sales of premium currency stopped and now would only last you half the year. When you look at the amount spent, I could get a AAA title collectors edition with a season pass. I loved the game but the bugs with increase of cost is making me rethink, if it's worth still playing. Update: may 23, 2018 So they increased the ways and amount of premium currency you can earn in the game. But the bugs and crash of the game have gotten more frequent. And a new bug, I was trying to speed through a event using premium currency. The game crashed and on reload the event was over. And far as gameplay, their is no news/alert on game events starting. So pretty much always came in late and could never finish the first act. Probably the only good thing is I haven't spent any real money on the game in a while.
  • Item max, redownloads constantky.

This app could be great. But they never planned for it to be successful or for people to play it the same way they play sim city. After a while you run out of levels. At this point your city will consist of about 10 commercial buildings and 7 different kinds of houses. You can either build a lot of the same thing and make a lot of money- causing the app to freeze. Or you can delete it. There are no buildings left to build and the "stories" don't activate for some reason so there are no goals left. It just feels like a very attractive half hearted job. I can't believe how many times it will just freeze and quit on me. It's useless to play at this point. So why did they allow us to get to that point? It makes very little sense unless as someone who has never bothered to buy a building with donuts... Maybe they just want me to go away. But why would I invest real money in a fake city, in a game that has so many bugs and a finite life span? It's ridiculous. Fix it. Now. Tapped out is a MESS. I got to max items- so i guess i won because now i cant play it. And on top of that..... it will force me to sign in again and re download the whole game every day since the update. That’s 15 minutes and a lot of bullshet. See serpechia to see my Springfield.
  • Great Game

    By Ljohn101
I have been playing this game for several years and it is one of the best ones out there. In fact, I have had this game longer than any other game. For a long time I did not spend any real money and was able to play the game and finish any of the events they had. I only log into the game 3-4 times a day and have never had problems completing an event. I spend money now, because I want to show my appreciation for not making this a “pay to play game.” Also, when I do spend money, it is never on the current event. There are some glitches and bugs every now and then, but they are always quickly resolved. I also do not know a single software company out there that doesn’t have bugs or glitches when they upgrade or update their programs or software. Sometimes you just can’t anticipate everything, but the important part is that you know how to fix it. If you are new to the game, just be patient, have fun and you will get there.

  • I use to love this game...

    By LovelyLily487
I haven’t played it in awhile and while I was downloading another EA game it made me think about this one. So I re-installed it to my new iPhone, reset my EA password and tried to log in. But no matter what I keep getting the same “an error has occurred message. So it’s a little disappointing. I had a lot of game data from what I remember that I can’t access now 😞
  • The best

    I love it
  • Not Fully Rotatable

    By Sanataoi
I love this game, and I can barely stop playing! However, there is a small problem. It may not bug others, but it bugs me. The houses can’t rotate all the way around. I want it to look like a normal place. If you could fix this, it would be 5 stars for sure!
  • Great game but too many updates

    By Samtheman5515
This game is great but it has one big problem: there are too many updates. And I don’t mean like an update everyday. I mean almost every time you open the app it has to do an update. And there are always exactly 704 things it needs to add and it always needs exactly 942.0 mb. Why does the game have to update so much? And why are the updates so similar each time? Is it doing the same update over and over again? Anyways, if the updates stopped I would change it to a five star review
  • Don’t pay attention to my rating as I’m being forced too

    By psdoffgamer777
How come this game says it requires 67 or 68mb. But, yet I have 2.5gb on my phone. It’s telling me I have to free up space. Disappointed at the inaccuracy of this issue. Because, I deleted a few things before I discovered this miscalculation. Sad because I’ve been a fan since the show started. 😭😡

  • I want to zoom out further!

    By smendoza87
I want to be able to redo my Springfield, but the zoom out limitations would make it painful. I’ve been playing for years, my Springfield is a mess; please let us zoom out further now that we have bigger screens or iPads
  • Great Game

    By dcaron96
I had so much fun playing this game. There are a ton of quest and activities that keep you wanting to come back. There are also a ton of specialty events that keep the game fresh and allow you to get unique items. Obviously it’s a freemium game so you can pay to speed along the process but they have really given you ways of getting in game currency though complete activities (such as the find Maggie mini game that allows you to get donuts [currency for rare items]) - that all being said the connectivity for this game is terrible I found myself constantly being kicked out of the app and that took a lot away from the game for me.
  • Don’t bother

    By Gawwwd
I used to be a fan of this app and play it even daily but for the past month I haven’t been able to run the game. I know it’s not my software because I’m not the only player with the issue. A word to the warry don’t waste your time on a game that is probably going to be shut down soon enough.
