If you want to install and use the The Sims™ FreePlay app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use The Sims™ FreePlay for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: The Sims™ FreePlay for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type The Sims™ FreePlay in the search bar and press Search. Click on The Sims™ FreePlay application icon. A window of The Sims™ FreePlay on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the The Sims™ FreePlay icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: The Sims™ FreePlay for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use The Sims™ FreePlay for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download Andriod, Iphone

Thank you for reading this tutorial. Have a nice day!

  • Great Game!

    By Greengaze
This is a great game - I play every day and it can be pretty addicting at times. It’s pretty realistic and I like how the people (or sims) interact with each other and their surroundings. My only 2 complaints are A: Everything takes too long - Going to work takes 9hours?? I mean are you serious? I get that working can be all day, but I don’t want to just be sitting there in an empty house waiting for hours for my sim to get home. Also, cooking can take an out ragiously long time. 18 hours to bake a croissant! I don’t know about you, but I have better things to do than bake croissants for 18 hours at a time. And B: Things can get a little pricy. I’ve seen a couple of reviews talking about this and I agree. I’m trying to expand my neighborhood but it’s a lot of money to just buy a 3 room house with out any furniture or painted walls. Also, the pets!! It’s costs those yellow “life skill” things I think there called. It’s hard to earn those and also if you want to speed things up (like 18 hour croissant baking) then you have to pay for that with those too. The pets are all in the 30’s range (some more some less) except for the first pets ( the Greyhound and the cat (I forget what it’s called) which cost 5 and 6 which is still pretty expensive. Anyway, I know I said a lot about this game that sounds more negative than positive, but it was mostly over 2 things and do recommend this game. I’m sorry for such a long review, but thanks for reading.
  • I love this game but...

    By Okay, um what?
This is one of my favorite games that i have on my ipad. I love how it resembles actual life and you can grow the babies. I love all of the jobs and places that you can get on the map because they are all unique in their own special way and they all hold an awesome activity like going to work or buying something. I especially love designing the houses because its so much fun to create cool life like areas where your sims can live. I have gotten pretty far into this game and have found some things to suggest. First of all, when i got the puppies and kittens quest completed, i was so excited to have my own pet to love but i feel like it should be able to do more. I can sit with the pet but i wish i could wash it in the bathtub or bounce it on the bed like i can with the baby. Another thing is that the pools, patios, and multi story things are very expensive. I have seen awesome houses and i want to have a big upstairs but i cannot afford it so i have to get a big area of space downstairs and fill up the whole thing because i cant make an upstairs. This is annoying because i also want space outside to put a pool and a patio but those are also very expensive. Right now i have a tiny 2 by 3 patio. If i even put railing on it, which is also very expensive, i would only have two little squares for my sims so it is just like a carpet outside that doesn't do anything. Thats all for now. Love this game. Please consider my problems.

Dear EA, I’m absolutely in love with your sims FreePlay game. There’s so much diversity within the game its self and so much your sim can do ... but it just all of these updates are kinda getting repetitive and you guys are missing the smaller things that will make the game that much more fun. For example the capacity of sims a house/building can hold is down right silly like seriously 10 ?!? Only ten people can be in a building at a time, like what if I want to throw a big party and only a few people can come ??? I think the bigger the house the more people you can have in it cause I have some really big hones on that game and I feel like it should hold more than just ten people, maybe twenty wound be a reasonable number?? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏽‍♂️. Also give the sims more interaction options, like maybe if more than one person could to speak to each other at the same time, I just want my sims to be able to do as much as possible and I’m not talking about major updates I’m just talking about incorporating more social interactions and relationship scores not much but I promise you it will make many freeplayers (like my cousin and I) that have been playing this game for quite some time, so happy and we promise we will appreciate it with the bottom of our hearts .. heck we appreciate theses current updates ... I’m just giving something guys something to work with 🤩🤩thank you so much for your time 😋 ~ from a proud simsfreeplayer ♥️♥️
  • Love this game but

    By starfish simmer
This game is great but I have a few suggestions. The bunk beds should be sold in the online store bc I think a lot of simmers would purchase that pack. Also a zoo or aquarium should be put into the game. Another issue with this game is that preteens cannot do anything more actions should be put into play with them. Also there should be more restaurants like a sushi place and a coffee house and a family restaurant. Sorry about all of the suggestions I really love this game but these could make it 1000 times better. Also more family activities could be added such as a family friendly park complete with a playground and grill area. Also it would be very cool if more vacation places were added. Like a Paris type place and a family friendly beach with activities from all age groups. Also this could be interesting and maybe a Halloween update, maybe a cemetery where when the grim reaper comes to get sims the family can morn and hold a service for them complete with grave stones and a reception area. Also body types! Fat tall short etc! I am a very serious simmer that has been playing for many years! I LOVE THIS GAME AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE who love creating and has a big imagination! This is my favorite game that offers so much! Sorry for the long review and the amount of suggestions! DOWNLOAD THIS GAME TODAY! It is well worth your time! Sincerely, Starfish simmer

  • Would make it five but..

    By Kyleedaboss
Needs more things that sims 3 and 4 have like the try for baby and if you do this 5 star everyone will play. Also make dates and less time for things like 1 day ir time just waiting when I could play the game for hours on end. And buy stuff from the online store.
  • Awesome app

    By RatzingerA
The app is great and awesome but seriously, it takes 1 Day to bake a birthday cake. 38 hours to speak with the Grinch or Grouch or Whater he is called my point is that talking to Bree or your future self as a senior seriously takes about 5 hours to 2 days just to talk or shoo a cat. Please make everything go quicker. I only gave you 4 stars but the stars will improve to 5 when your game is awesomely awesome.

I like this game a lot but I’m trying to delete but it won’t let me and it’s not on my home screen and it’s making me mad.

  • More options?

    By InTheEnddd
I enjoy this game a lot! But I’ve notice that for preteens the styling is kind of boring, there just isn’t a lot of options for the clothing. And I love all the new furniture choices I just wish I had more on the different ages such as toddler and teens. That’s all I wanted to suggest, but seriously love this game!

By Yas boi this app is BAE
Dear EA This game is such a great game I love it I’ve been playing sims FreePlay for over a year now and I’m still not tired of it. Usually when people download a game after a while they geT tired of it. Well....... definitely NOT with sims!!!! I have a couple of suggestions In one lot or the park there’s only aloud 10 people witch I don’t really like can you maybe change that to 20 people is aloud on one lot or at the park or any place the sims can go. My second suggestion is you’re only aloud 4 family members in a house WHY a lot of family aren’t just made up of four! So why should sims be?? You can can still have a limit or you can have NO limit at all witch I would be happy about. Those were my suggestions for the game if you change those two thing it would truely be THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!! As I said before I never get tired of this game. # SIMS IS BAE 😍😍
