I get both the digital and print versions, this new upgrade lost all of my back issues!!!
Won’t Work

I cannot get signed in in the new app to see my magazines, no matter how I try. Right now the app is useless to me.
I don't think print subscribers get free access

The blurb on Fons and Porter website says: "Print version fans of this app can now get an iPad edition..." It doesn't actually say anything about print subscribers getting free access. I have a few print subscriptions of magazines for which New Track Media provides iPad subscriptions, and I haven't gotten answers to several emails requesting information on whether print subscribers can get access. I'm thinking that because the iPad editions aren't managed by the print publishers, the answer is no. I subscribed to the iPad version of Quiltmaker Magazine, which is managed by this same company, and I'm not pleased with the interface as compared to that for other magazines, such as The New Yorker and Martha Stewart's Living. My issues are never in my library, and I have to restore them every time I want to read one. Also, there aren't a lot of navigation tools provided.
Digital issue PDFs not available

Starting with the July August 2018 issue, the PDF download was no longer supported. The solution was to load the F&P iOS app on your iPad and live with that. But I would like to have my projects accessible from a Windows laptop. So I can access an article from the table of content using the app, then save a Note, then open the web link in the note in Safari and finally create and save a PDF which can then be viewed on Windows. OK, this is ugly but doable. But, no, the app only displays the table of contents for the first 60 pages so in the November December 2018 issue, the Glorified Spice article on page 82 cannot be viewed from the table of contents. Clearly your digital publishing people are amateurs at best. They seem to be a matched set with your customer service people.
