1. SmartPhone Navigator allows you to search for Buffalo NAS devices (LinkStations and TeraStations) on a network that the mobile device is also connected to.

2. You may also use the app to manage any detected Buffalo NAS devices from your mobile device.

3. • WebAccess configuration: set up WebAccess directly from your mobile device, without needing a computer.

4. The following LinkStation series are only compatible if they are running firmware version 1.26 or later (version 1.34 or later is recommended).

5. The following TeraStation series are only compatible if they are running firmware version 1.32 or later.

6. • Settings access: open Settings, the interface from you can configure the NAS device.

7. • Error and information events details: display error and information event messages, and their details.

8. • IP address configuration: change the NAS device’s IP address remotely.

Install SmartPhone Navigator app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SmartPhone Navigator on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SmartPhone Navigator"
The search will reveal the SmartPhone Navigator app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SmartPhone Navigator is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SmartPhone Navigator.
Now enjoy SmartPhone Navigator on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SmartPhone Navigator,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SmartPhone Navigator" » then Click "Install".
- SmartPhone Navigator will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Same problem as others

I thought it was some weird problem with my phone, but nope. Will not stay open or find the NAS, just crashes in a matter of seconds after launching it. Nice thought, doesn't work at all. Glad it was a free app.
It has a nice icon

Sadly that is the only part of this application that is functional. As you can see with the reviews on the previous version, the app crashes shortly after you open it. That issue has not been resolved.
Can’t find NAS...

IOS 11.4.1 on iPhone 7plus: App opens but can’t find NAS. Says to verify the WiFi connection and tap the reload icon... If allowed access to cellular data, app only stays open for a short time then closes mid search. Some high quality vaperware they got here ;( .
Junk - zero stars

Won't even start. Crashes on launch. Hope this is not a precursor of what to expect from the brand-new Buffalo raid drive I was trying to setup. Sigh, why bother releasing this if you can't even ensure it will at least start??
