MicroCell support and devices discontinued
By TomTwoTimes (Pcmac user)
As a longtime customer of AT&T Wireless, I have been utilizing the MicroCell for almost 5 years now and actually owned two before the older model decided to no longer function. After troubleshooting myself, I decided to contact AT&T Wireless tech support. The ended up telling me that they had disconnected the product altogether due to the "Wi-Fi Calling" feature now rendering the MicroCell useless. In fact, I was supposed to receive a phone call two days ago and I'm still waiting for someone to provide an answer on whether they will replace the MicroCell that malfunctioned. My guess is that no one will receive a satisfactory answer to your questions. Good luck everyone!

Does this app still work?
By JM in NB (Pcmac user)
I can’t connect to our microcell. I get emails saying the microcell can not connect. What’s up with that. It happens when no one is home. This is the worst AT&T product I’ve ever owned. It doesn’t work. It doesn’t appear supported and it’s not good for anything. Do not but a microcell from AT&T, take one if they give it to you or use this app. None of them work. Very sad, very sad, but what else is expected of AT&T? They are still a phone company (though more focused on technology) than a tech company. Though this product and app contradict that!

Latest update still won’t logon
By LASD9958 (Pcmac user)
This update that supposedly fixes logon problems doesn’t fix it for me. I still receive an “unable to authenticate mobile user “ error when trying to logon using the app. I have no problems logging on on the this app website. The latest version ( 2.2 ) with the new feature of notifying users of a new version never loads, just notifies of a new version available ( which has already been installed ) in a continuous loop. Do they even test the app ?.

Endless Loop
By K7235 (Pcmac user)
AT&T has made another one of their apps even more dismal then it was. After the latest update you get a message that there is a “New Version” available. When you click the button it takes you to the app you just updated. I’ve searched the App Store and there is no other app 😵.
It’s time AT&T got their act together and started to combine their apps. At least this way there would only be one non-functioning app, verses the misery being spreed amongst multiple apps.
