What is Ibis Paint X app?

There are so many artists who prefer to draw manually than digitally. Most of the time, it's simply because they are better inspired/motivated to draw that way. However, there are artists who wouldn't mind gaining some kind of inspiration from drawing digitally. They would like to migrate to a digital palette and for such artists, here is the Ibis Paint X app.

The Ibis Paint X App is a drawing app that lets you share your digital art with friends and at the same time, engage them in drawing your pictures. This app is awesome for one major reason: A beginner can download it and begin to make great illustrations irrespective of their inexperience. Bear in mind, this app is only compatible the iOS devices.

Ibis Paint X has over 2,500 materials including brushes, blending modes, screentones, etc. I'm going to now list some of the features of this app.

It has the SNS drawing feature where you can easily model the drawing methods of other users through their process videos.

There are 335 kinds of brushes including also crayons, charcoal brushes amongst others.
It includes layer parameters such as alpha blending, blending, layer opacity, etc.

Before I go any further, you must know that there's a free and paid version of Ibis Paint X. There are two paid versions of the app namely the Prime Membership which involves monthly payment but without ads. The other is the Remove Ads Add On which involves one off payment.

The Prime membership subscription comes with some perks such as Prime materials, prime fonts, tone curve filter, etc. You might want to bear that in mind. Now like I mentioned earlier, a beginner can start using Ibis Paint X and start making good illustrations. This brings me to the reason I thought using the app would be a great idea for budding and even professional artists: There are process videos and tutorials to learn from.

The creators of the app have a YouTube Channel with several tutorial videos of how to use the app. You won't be left on your own. That's very thoughtful and a great incentive for budding digital artists.

It's a very intuitive and thoughtful especially considering all the materials inputted in the app.

Disadvantages

It has got some glitches after an update.

I have had this app for 3 or so years I have improved very rapidly! I was first drawing like a three-year-old and in one year I developed my own style I learned how to use all the colors and now I really love how I draw if you don’t give up and you know how to use the colors you can really improve on your drawing skills or your art skills this app is very useful if you want to have an art career I suggest you download this app :3 But.. I have been lagging a lot I tried deleting some apps but it won’t stop maybe it is just my scream I’ve never had this problem before so probably so far I have no reason to doubt the app I am a simple drawer all the time I draw I barely try but when I do try this app really helps the layers and everything you can’t find any of this under another app it’s amazing I have no complaints I am completely satisfied I do want to get better and if you do too and you love this app too please give it a good rate the creator deserves it! And if you’re reading this creator thank you very much I love this app I wouldn’t use any other drawing app it doesn’t suit my style this app also has pen adjustments you can adjust your pen to whatever liking you want it’s amazing how many things you can do on this app and The updates to come I bet will be amazing thank you very much for your time

I love this app so much, ever since I first downloaded it to begin my journey as a digital artist. However, as I've grown older, I've realized that while this app is awesome but I needs some improvement. For example, the brushes in ibisPaintX are great but a wider variety would be even better, also being able to import brushes so that users can experiment more within the app rather than stick to the same old brushes. Also, better setting for the brushes, you know, more options besides changing opacity, size, etc. Another improvement could be allowing scrubbing when viewing the time lapse of art. I know some artists, when they post online, add proof or wips of some kind in their post. I also do but sometimes I forget to take those while doing my artwork. Instead of having to remove layers in my piece, I could just click on the place in the time lapse to screenshot and I'm ready to go! Also, adding folders to layer options would be nice instead of having to name every layer in an artwork just to be able to find it again. And finally, adding a blending brush would be amazing. I have to use the blur tool and airbrush, which works well enough, but blending would be an absolutely great addition! That's all I can think of on improvement! Other than that, this app is amazing and an absolute blessing to the young digital artists out there in the world! Thank you!

With the new update, comes the feature that really annoys me. Every time I exit the app by pressing the home button, or double clicking the home button to switch between "open" apps, the artwork I'm in closes out, and takes me back to the title screen. I used to only have to deal with this if I shut off my phone, or if my phone died, but now I have to deal with it, what seems like, every time I exit the app. I get that it might be for "saving" your artwork, but I find it highly annoying because when I try to go back into it, I usually find quite a few mistakes I made that I can't just erase, and would need to use the "undo" button; but because the app exited my artwork, I no longe heaven access to the undo button. I really love the app and all, but if this doesn't get fixed, to where if I do exit the app, it will continue to close my artwork and not allow me to undo, then I'm going to have to stop using the app and look for another one that will take me another five years to get used to. And I really don't want to do that, so please fix this. Also, one other thing. About 50% of the time when I enter an artwork, the frambuff 5, or I think that's what it is, I've stopped paying attention because I've gotten the message so many times, fails to load and the app has to restart itself. I'm pretty sure this is a bug, and can be fixed pretty simply. But, otherwise; it's a good app.

I have to say, this is definitely one of my top three Apps of all time! When I saw this, I was so happy that I finally found this app in an ad. So many of my friends use this app and it is definitely worth downloading! If you are a Gacha YouTuber, An artist, or just a simple person that wants a place to share their art among others, then this app is perfect for you! I have seen so many good reviews about this app! Even though I play on a IPhone 6, it actually isn’t too hard, even when I was beginning. I do edits and I think that this app is perfect for them. The tutorials really help with beginners and they helped me a lot too! I have nothing bad at all to say about this app other than The fact that you have an IBS paint.
