Download and install the 4Shadow app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using 4Shadow on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "4Shadow"
- The search will reveal the 4Shadow app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once 4Shadow is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including 4Shadow.
- Now enjoy 4Shadow on PC.

- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing 4Shadow:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "4Shadow" » Click "Install" to install 4Shadow

Cannot clear old “Firewall is Disabled” Alerts

2.2.1 update: Annoyingly I cannot clear old “Firewall is Disabled”alerts from May of this year, otherwise it seems to be working ok.
My biggest gripe is the annoying alerts that cannot be dismissed saying my Ffirewall is Disabled, which it isn’t and they cannot be removed or cleared until I went to this app’s Preferences and changed it from “Default Apple Firewall” to “Apple Firewall”. I‘m not sure what the differences are but after I removed the incorrcet warnings I set it back to “Default Apple Firewall” which did not remove the warning after a reboot. Switched to “Apple Firewall” in this app’s preferences pane and again, on reboot the warning cannot be cleared unless I continue to annoyingly open this app’s preferences.
Update: I changed it to “Apple Firewall” went into this app’s Preferences>Network Safety>Advanced and white listed some ports which I should’ve done sooner and I changed my rating to 3 stars since that seemed to dismiss the firewall is disabled error. Well, several days later that same irritating firewall is disabled issue is back again! So. it’s back to one star till they update & fix the issue. Looks like I might just uninstall it for a while, possibly forever.
I had asked a security expert what his thoughts were on this app: “...the MIM protection is great defending against a 2000 era Arp attack…but in no way protects your traffic from WIFI eavesdroppers.” If this is true then I’m sure near future updates to this app will not only improve protection for the user but performance and squash nitpicky bugs.

Light icon for dark theme

You can’t see the menubar icon when using the dark theme in OSX 10.10. Can we get an option to use a ‘light icon’?
