Pros:

- Feels and looks like a real organizer

- Well laid out with tabs and entries

- Paid version is worth every cent

- Best organizer the reviewer has ever had

- Does not automatically back up to iCloud for added security

Cons:

- Free version is outdated and may not work on newer devices

- Cannot sync with reminders despite being set up to do so

- Multiple entries for calendars and hide/show preferences can be confusing

- Hiding calendars requires clicking on a different day and then back again

- Calendars with the same name are considered the same by the app, causing issues.

  • For those saying the app does not function…

    By Zaqueery (Pcmac user)

Check the versions/release dates between the fre and paid versions. Free is 2,4,7, last updated in 2013; paid is 2,7,1 and last updated late last year. That’s why the free isn’t working on your ‘brand-new MacBooks’. It’s fair to say that you aren’t willing to pay for the full-featured version because you can’t test-drive it with the free, but if your reasoning for not purchasing the full version because the free’s not working means that the full’s won’t, it’s faulty. Also, the paid version is worth every cent. Best organiser I’ve ever had, virtual *or* physical.
  • Very Happy. ^_^

    By LadyandaDove (Pcmac user)

This is perfect - feels and looks like a real organizer, I love the entries, how it is all laid out, the tabs and what’s on them - a real organizer. If only I didn’t have Day One already! I only chipped in a review because I just wanted to let you know just great your app is… come to think of it, I just might re-buy again? Sigh. And I like the way that it doesn’t automatically back up to icloud. I feel like one password security leak is too risky - and it connects to all your stuff.
  • Bugs with calendars

    By Easy Being (Pcmac user)

Most of the calendars have multiple entries (Calendar, Tasks, Holidays, etc.), all have multiple entries in the hide/show preferences dialog). Why? Makes no sense. Hiding calendars works, but you have to click on a different day and then click back to see the changes. If any calendars have the same name as other calendars (which, working in an office with Outlook, everyone's calendar is named "Calendar"), they all are considered to be the same calendar by the app Domini, so nothing works right.
  • Reminders will not sync to app

    By t0717 (Pcmac user)

I love everything about this app except that it will not sync with my reminders, even though I have it set up to have access to them. This is my only issue…but it is an important issue. Please either share with me a solution or fix it! Thank you!
