What is Scuba Exam?

Scuba Exam is an app designed to help beginners pass certification tests and refresh the knowledge of certified divers. The app covers basic diving theory, including equipment, physics, physiology, environment, and decompression theory. It is developed in cooperation with diving expert Tec Clark, founder of ScubaGuru.com. The app features a Scuba Quiz with 250 illustrated questions similar to those on the real exam, detailed quiz results with educational explanations, a quiz bank and guide to dive tables from PADI, NAUI, and SSI, and an extensive, easily navigated, and searchable guide to basic scuba diving theory.

Software Features and Description

1. The Scuba Exam quiz contains over 200 general diving questions similar to those on the real exam, covering essential topics such as hand signals, how to dive safely without endangering yourself or others, the physics and physiology of diving, and diving terminology.

2. The theory guide contains chapters covering basic scuba diving tips, buoyancy, air pressure and gas laws, the scuba unit and how to assemble it, the buddy system and pre-dive safety check, dive tables and much more.

Download and install the Scuba Exam app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Wish I found this app before I took the exams

This app is great for anyone interested in learning about the app, wants to try their hand at example exams. Some of the questions are very close (not the same as the real exam I just took from PADI), but make sure you understand the same principals. It also gives you explanations on why you got it wrong. Love this app, well worth the few $$'s. Thank you to the developers who wrote this app! Robert

I have been diving since I was 16 years old and continue to enjoy the science, sport, the creatures ... recording such on video and with photos as a 54 year old retiree. My husband and I are both Master Divers who, needless to say ... have much dive experience. However, we found this tool very sobering as we tested our memories and retained training. This tool is a truly useful refresher for anyone who continues to learn to be a better Diver ... A good diver is always learning.

I'm about to start open water training and find this app a great companion to the book and video I'm reviewing for the class. I've taken the mini quizzes a dozen times or so and always review the incorrect answers. After a few days I started taking the 50 question quizzes and do very well on them. I'm thinking this kind of preparation should make the class easier and more enjoyable.

It was a great format to test knowledge and correct deficiencies before the final exam. Plus, I expect it will be helpful as a refresher before the next excursion / vacation. To that end, it would be great if future versions of the app had an option to send periodic alerts asking a random question just to keep me on my toes.
