What is Five-O Deluxe? Five-O is a word game that uses numbers instead of letters. The objective of the game is to create sequences of tiles that add up to a multiple of five, with no sequence being longer than five tiles. The game can be played in single-player mode against challenging computer opponents or in multiplayer mode with up to four players. The game is easy to learn and has simple controls.
1. The first sequence must be played on the center square, and all sequences after that must intersect with tiles already in play.
2. Instead of letters, the tiles are numbers, and instead of forming words, each sequence of tiles has to add up to a multiple of five, and no sequences may be longer than five tiles.
3. On each turn, players may play tiles in one straight line sequence, horizontally or vertically.
4. The score for each play is the sum of all the number tiles in sequences completed on that turn.
5. At the end of each turn, players draw new tiles to replace the ones played.
6. The game ends when a player plays all of their remaining tiles and there are no more tiles left to draw.
7. Players take turns placing intersecting sequences of numbers on the board which add up to multiples of five.
8. The sequence 3-9-5 is not valid because it adds up to 17 which is not a multiple of five.
9. For example, 7-3-8-7 would be a valid sequence because it adds up to 25.
