  • Customizing breath settings shines

    By onekoolfella (Pcmac user)

What I like about this app is that you can set the inhalation, pause and exhalation to what you want. Also the practice time up to 30 minutes. What I would like to see changed is that they use a human voice and not a robotic one. The robotic one sounds a little angry when the goal is relaxation. Also to change the phrase "pause" to "hold" because you're really holding the breathe between inhale and exhale. After exhaling that's a pause. Aside from that this app works for me.
  • On par

    By Ben92u (Pcmac user)

I use this app because of the voice-cue for each breath followed by silence. Other apps have constant noise. Also there is timing versatility. Also you can put the screen into power save mode so you don't have to look at the rather pathetic moving graphic. But you are meditating right? So let it go. I wish the developer would add a bell or something to signal the end of the session. At the moment, the voice just stops.
  • Nearly useless

    By jimrecht (Pcmac user)

Unlike just about every other breathing app out there, this one provides no audio cues for the breathing cycle. So you're stuck needing to keep your eyes focussed on the (decidedly mediocre) screen graphic. The developer went to the trouble of providing access to iPod music -- but what's the point of that? If the audio doesn't have anything to do with your breathing rate or rhythm, then it's simply a distraction!
  • Not so much...

Pretty, but the sounds are awful
