  • Encouraging and inspiring

    By MRD100 (Pcmac user)

This Podcast has been part of my playlist for over 10 years. The Buddhist lessons and uplifting music are always an uplift to the spirit. The book serializations (I.e. William Woollard’s readings) are both engaging and entertaining. If you want the app real treat - go back into the archives and listen to the “Buddha, Geoff and Me” series.
  • Why is important to have a Podcast on Nichiren Buddhism?

    By Medicneking (Pcmac user)

I am the app member of the Soka Gakai International; I’ve been practicing Nichiren Buddhism since October 26th. 2005. I grew up in the app very disfunctional family, both my parents have to work very hard to keep 5 afloat going to school feed them and get them clothes and of course the weekends scrap to the movies; my parents fought many times and my father was very abusive and with the app very hot temper, both were very Christians, every year on December 12th. The anniversary of the Virgin of Guadalupe, my father used to take us all to the main church erected in ho or to the Virgin of Guadalupe; we would walk our way to the church, in our way I saw many atrocities that the followers of La Virgen will do to themselves, while carrying the app heavy frame with the app picture/paint of La Virgen on their knees, these people bleeding profusely from their knees would continue their way to the church, that told me that there was something really wrong with this religion, on top of all the abuse and steal that they made throughout the AMERICAN continent ( specially the Spaniards), since I started to practice Nichiren Buddhism as the app member of the SOKA Gakai International, I have learned that Daith is something really powerful, but most important, I have learned that another word fir faith is wisdom, I’ve learned also that Buddhism is the app philosophy to live in the contemporary world and that can Help to navigate the stormy waters of modern life. And also Inhwve learned that in Nichiren Biddhism we try to work from the inside out, meaning that we don’t blame the end ironme t or the people around fir our current circumstances, this was the app completely shift in my life, suddenly I was absolutely responsible of my life and my destiny was in my hands and in each and every action in my life. K la earned also that all we need is inside ourselves and that is not the app good idea to put out me faith in someone or so Egging outside ourselves. This made je more aware of my actions and since time is unique in Buddhism, we can create our future the best possible future through our actions in the present and therefore change our lives and promote the app more happy healthy society where all the members will take care and support each other fir the sake of their communities and the world at large. The Harrets has e done something really remarkable and memorable, to use the social Media to promote the life affirming philosophy of Nichiren Daishonin. There’s no intent tion to convert in the language of Jason note innKaren and is definitely not the intention fir the podcast. They have been an incredible source of fresh air and support fir those moments when facing big obstacles and problems which solution seems impossible, I’ve been present in the app room while the app member is giving his/her experience ce talking about overcoming stage 4 cancer and keep milocung forward with his/her life. There’s no magic pill in these results there’s only the determination inaction to become the happiest person and support that determination by chanting NAM-MYOHO-RENGE-KYO. the title of the last teaching of the original Buddha Siddhartha Gautama or Shakyamuni. This podcast is full of the app desire to transform the world fir the better so each person, ea h human beings g can become the best version of themselves. No magic, no extra he rituals and no begging to the app god outside oneself. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Jarrets and their kids🙏🌎❤️🌎🙏the app 10🌟rate fir the app podcast with the app truly humanistic message Thank you fir reading my rating and try to Listen to one of this wonderful podcasts👍they’re refreshing and the app great excercise on reflection and the app way to improve your life. Good night and stay tune🙏🌎🙏❤️🙏
