Install DocScanner 8 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using DocScanner 8 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "DocScanner 8"
The search will reveal the DocScanner 8 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once DocScanner 8 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including DocScanner 8.
Now enjoy DocScanner 8 on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use DocScanner 8,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "DocScanner 8" » then Click "Install".
- DocScanner 8 will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

It’s worked great for me. Use it all the time. Auto detects borders. Good quality. Instant PDF to be emailed. Multi page is easy. Works awesome. If doing a LOT of pages (20+) can bog a little bit for day to day scanning of 1-15 pages it’s smooth. I’ve had several team members download it as it’s simple to use and has not been a problem for me for many years.
Google sign in is broken

App can no longer upload to Google Drive as the developers have chosen not to update the auth screen.

Location service is requered not by this program, but by iOS to access photos with geotag information. So this program asks for it not to know your location, but to access photos from camera roll (it's apple's idea to do it so). Anyway I saw some programs which just say that if your location service is off they couldn't write it for later use and continue working. So it can be a good idea to add this possibility to ignore location information. And the program is realy good, it has almost everything you need to do with docs: make a photo, crop/resize, one of the best alorithms to make paper white and characters black, organize, send/save to various formats (jpg, pdf), sync (and automatic sync) with different services (google docs, evernote, mail...). And many other things which you can need. The only thing not perfect is that some people may find procedure of scanning and organizing a little bit complicated (because it has a lot of settings and advantages), but it's still easy and may be in future author will make the design more straight forward. 5***** stars
Promising...but has issues: UPDATE

Update: not experiencing the problems I first had. Very good app. Some minor issues...like, make it easier to name your documents...but overall it's exactly what I was looking for. I feel compelled to write my first review...this app is very promising, but dissappointing right now. I was looking for something that does exactly what this app claims...quickly convert documents into e-mailable PDF files. Yes, there are plenty of ways to do this with the iPhone camera, editing software, PDF maker and then e-mail...but this claims to do it all in one...and quickly. The app works well up to the point of e-mail. Something is screwy about the e-mail. I have been able to send 3 of 8 of the documents I wanted to...it took forever to send the 3...and two of the documents got e-mailed 20 times instead of just once. Very buggy! But still very promising. I recommend waiting to purchase this app until these issues are worked out.
