Software Features and Description

1. A Note To Event Organizers: If you are a student club, an academic department, or any other organization in the Penn community, visit haPENNings.com to log into the Event Organizer Portal.

2. See the latest messages and alerts from the organizers you choose to follow! Acting as a virtual noticeboard, you will be relayed news from your selected Event Organizers.

3. Each Event Organizer profile provides you with up-to-date information, as well as upcoming/past events and announcements.

4. Upon a successful scan, you will either be checked into an event for attendance or will begin following an Event Organizer for future updates.

5. Discover events that interest you via the DISCOVER tab’s personally curated event swipe card selection.

6. Scan event and Event Organizer QR codes via the DISCOVER tab by pressing the QR symbol in the top right.

7. Want to search for an event, past, present, or future? No problem! Just use the search bar to search by event title.

8. Follow them to receive the latest updates on their status or new event postings.

9. Find Event Organizers you know, or stumble upon new exciting ones.

10. Listed under “Today,” “Tomorrow,” and “Later,” find a complete listing of events in chronological order so that you can see everything currently posted and plan your time at Penn accordingly.

11. Indicate your preference as “Going” or “Interested” by simply pressing the check or question mark button.

Install haPENNings app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using haPENNings on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "haPENNings"
The search will reveal the haPENNings app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once haPENNings is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including haPENNings.
Now enjoy haPENNings on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native haPENNings Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use haPENNings,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "haPENNings" » then Click "Install".
- haPENNings will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
