  • Cash grab that plays decent

    By Trulop (Pcmac user)

Honestly not a bad game. Put alot of work into the story (whether people like it or not), but the rates are trash. Honestly feels like they are baiting you with first few pulls getting decent rewards, then your next 15 x10 rolls you get nothing. Get rates like ML Adventure to be successful, they actually care about their players not just their wallets =\ EDIT: tried to continue playing and i just cant do it. Saved up a ton of gems to try pulling again to have same thing happen. The rates are the worst ive seen in a gatcha game >.< nexon lives up to its reputation unfortunately. Dropped from 2 to 1 star since u cant progress in game when u get no players to use. Raising back to 2 star due to active response team. As for a suggestion, put in a better system that increases rate of higher character the more you fail to pull the highest tier characters, then resets back after you gain one. Since gatcha is all about random chance, some people may still get many bad rolls in a row, but when a 10x roll costs a decent amount of money (for those who pay for cash shop items/gems), pulling 150 to get no higher tier characters is a severe let down as well as feeling like you just burned all your money you have nothing to show for it. ALL IN ALL, a better safety system for better chances of not getting screwed would be huge. That is the 1 fix that would bring a player like myself back to game. Thank you for the reply!
  • A slightly more interesting version of the same thing.

    By Sockman Mondo (Pcmac user)

This game is mediocre. Not bad, but not that good either. As stated in the title of this review it’s more or less the same as every other mobile gacha game. Units move automatically, there’s an rps system in play that restricts the viability of certain units on certain maps arbitrarily, and the only thing you can do in combat is use ex skills. Granted the way these skills are implemented are slightly better than usual. As I’m sure you’re aware, most of these glorified copy pastes give each character a cooldown period before you’re allowed to press a button to make something cool happen, to the point where you’ll likely just auto because pressing that button will only be satisfying so many times. In this game however, the team shares a meter that lets you use their ex skills, and you can only pick from 3 at any given time. This actually adds some micromanaging to the game, and if the game had more of that I’d actually enjoy it. Oh yeah, the girls are cute I guess so if you’re only here for that then go for it.
  • Great Side-Game

    By LoddosFox (Pcmac user)

I’ve had my eye on this game since it was announced for JP. It’s global launch was the same day as another really good gatcha game, so I had a lot of stuff fighting for my attention. So far, from a casual-f2p perspective, I’m having a ton of fun. The isometric, 3-D environments and chibis are gorgeous, and the UI is quick and clean. The gameplay feels like a fresh take on the standard element-based, rock-paper-scissors kind of team-building. And the auto-combat is just dumb enough to start failing to 3-star levels by chapter 2 or 3, which is great. I hate games that can play themselves entirely. Also I really love a sweep system that only costs the stamina to clear the stage and a 3-star requisite. Perfect for what is currently a casual side game. I don’t care about rates, because I prefer to approach gacha games from “playing the hand you’re dealt” and trying to overcome the obstacles the game puts in front of you. But then again, I haven’t even touched pvp, because I’m not really into pvp.
  • Rates

By Yoda's goblin child (Pcmac user)

Like any game with rng as a core part of its system, I see a lot of people complaining about rates. As a free to play, I have no idea how there are people complaining about rates in this app. I’ve been playing since day one(a couple months ago) and I already have something like an actual dozen three stars(highest rating), counting the two or three duplicates. Imagine if games like Genshin, F/GO and Magia record gave you five highest rating characters a month, you literally never see rates this high in any other game. The “after two hundred summons you get a free banner character if your choice” mechanic makes it even more impossible to not get the character you want, especially if you saved gems for them. They don’t even give you a reason to spend money on the gacha unless you want extra rank up materials which are easy to get anyway. This game can barely be called gacha because of how easy it is to get characters.
