What is Toyota? The Toyota app is designed to provide a more convenient way to manage your vehicle and stay connected to it. It offers a range of Connected Services that can be activated or managed through the app. The app also provides access to other features such as the owner's manual, dealer locator, service scheduling, and roadside assistance.

Software Features and Description

1. With select 2022 vehicles, experience a range of new Connected Services features designed to help you get the most out of your vehicle and assist you every day.

2. Created to provide a more convenient way to manage your vehicle, the Toyota app gives you even more ways to stay connected to your vehicle.

3. Forgotten where you parked? Use the Last Parked Location feature in your app to guide you to your vehicle's last known parked location.

4. Start your vehicle and even warm or cool the interior based on the last climate-control settings.

5. Set up to 20 destinations like home and work that can be saved and sent to your vehicle making it easy to reach your destination.

6. Get directions sent from your vehicle to your smartphone via the Toyota app to get you the final steps of the way.

7. (1) Available services vary by vehicle and subscription type.

8. Access your favorite audio streaming service and control it straight from the head unit without having to plug in or pair your mobile device.

11. Set predetermined driver privileges by activating the Guest Driver Profile in your app and get notified if limits are exceeded.

Download and install the Toyota app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

✔ Pros:

- The interface is better on the main screen compared to the other app.

- The app has the potential to show all the diagnostics of the vehicle.

- The app updates the fuel gauge and miles every time it is launched.

☹ Cons:

- The remote start, unlocking, and locking features do not work properly.

- The app does not update the current status of doors opened/closed and locked/unlocked.

- The app requires constant logging in and prompts to add a VIN, which never gets added.

- The start button is stuck on "Stop Engine" and cannot be fixed.

- Adding a second car results in the first car disappearing from "my garage" and cannot be added back.

I downloaded this app after downloading remote connect, I didn’t know it was two apps, this is my first this app, I always had OnStar/ Chevrolet. Anyways I have no complaints, even though I downloaded this app the last minute, both apps work the same, the only difference Is only one works with Apple Watch, so I keep both for that, but mainly use this app b/c the interface is better on main screen. I’m happy I left Chevy for this app, I might miss the remote start icon on the keyfob, but I still can use remote start with this app keyfob also, just a little differently. LoL

My app has no problem talking to my Tundra, it’s the functionality that’s a complete bomb. Login to the app may be quick or require selection of the “use fingerprint” button. It updates the fuel gauge and miles every time I launch the app, but not the door lock/unlock status. The lock button works usually, the unlock button not so much. The start button worked 2-3 times, but is now stuck on “Stop Engine”. Nothing I’ve done so far has fixed it but since the truck shuts off when you auto start and then grab the handles, not sure I’d use it anyway. It’s as if the app was conceived on weed and tested in your mom’s basement. The breadth and depth of bugs on this app are amazing for anything with a this app brand.

Just purchased a 2020 Tundra Limited(for those that would say buy a newer Tundra) This app has great potential, needs drastic work though. I can see all of the “diagnostics” on the truck, and I think that the guest driver settings work(I get notifications that the profiles have been activated, have not seen a functional change yet, we are going to test that this afternoon). However, the remote start, unlocking and locking does not work. Nor does it truly update the current start of doors opened/closed and locked/unlocked portion. Once these are fixed I would update the rating on the app.
My vehicles not showing up

As the other reviewers have pointed out I’m in the constant loop of logging in and being prompted to add a VIN, then it never adds it. My vehicle shows up when I use the same account/ log in on the this app owners website and entune3.0 website. And no I am not calling the 800 number to address this- Fix The App! Update- now I added a second car and all I can access is the second car- the first one is no longer in “my garage “. When I try to add it results in error it’s already on the account.
