What is Wahoo RGT?

Wahoo X is a subscription-based platform that provides access to two separate apps, Wahoo RGT and Wahoo SYSTM. Wahoo RGT is a virtual cycling app that allows users to ride and race on iconic routes and racecourses in stunning detail. The app also features Magic Roads, which allows users to relive, re-ride, or recon any road, anytime. Wahoo SYSTM is a comprehensive training app that provides users with access to a library of workouts and training plans. With Wahoo X, users can access all of the features and content of both apps with a single subscription and login.

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Fulgaz and Zwift had a Baby named RGT👶

3 rides in and loving it! Personally this hits a sweet spot for me. I'm not a big Zwifter (too gamey and I feel like I'm always lost) and Fulgaz has no social aspect to it, so this app is just right. I really like the screen + app combo which let's me use my phone for other things while riding. I hope it continues to be developed and gains popularity so that more routes can be added. I've not had bugs or unreliability which some other reviews mention. Using an iPhone and Apple TV. Keep at it RGT!
Great Idea, but

One word describes my experience. Buggy. Crashed several times. Keep getting a “check your internet connection” message. this is annoying for two reasons. first, it locks up the program on the computer so I have to reboot to get out of the program and check my connection. second, when i check the connection, it is fine. the graphics are good, if they could fix the bugs it would be worth using. Also, this is not an equipment issue. I have high speed internet, a 2020 macbook pro, and iphone Xs max. so it isn’t that my hardware is out of date and unable to run the software.

I use this app with my Schwinn IC4 Indoor Spin Bike and love it! It was a bit difficult to pair to the bike at first, but once I got over that hump, it’s been almost flawless. I’ve got to figure out how to set everything up, as my metrics feel a bit off. Also my MacBook Pro had a connection issue once mid ride. Still, this app motivates me to work harder, longer...plus it’s FREE!
Bizarre and non functional

I’ve got a slew of apps to use with my the app KICKR. Zwift, TrainerRoad, Rouvy etc. Each has its own advantages but I’m always interested in trying something new. Especially a platform that allows for a simple means to add my own real world routes. In principle that’s what RGT Cycling is designed to do. However, the execution of this platform is bizarre, requiring TWO separate apps to be used on TWO individual devices simultaneously. That is you need to launch this app—RGT Cycling—on your phone and ASLO the separate RGT viewer app on an iPad, Mac or AppleTV. There’s no rational reason to do this and in practice the software is buggy frequently crashing on launch. I very much wanted to give this platform a fair trial but after failing to get the two apps functioning I gave up and reverted back to Zwift. I’d love to see the developers get the platform operating with a SINGLE non-crashing app. Then I’d give it a shot again.
