if only the app had the stability of Zwift and Zwift had the graphics of the app.

This app is awesome and the graphics are pretty amazing. Love all of the stats and honestly impressed overall.

Great App, super simple to use. But every-time a used the screen app, the fan of the MacBook Pro 2019, start a full capacity. That means that the screen is consuming full resources. That's is not so cool. That's why 4 stars instead of 5.

Let's be honest; for a premium indoor cycling experience you have to pay...well...a premium. I've used a few different paid and free options, and after a couple different experiences all around, I think the general level of free or low-cost training software is pretty good. A disclaimer: this review is the of the free version. I've been a paid subscriber to TrainerRoad, Zwift, Bkool, and I've used Golden Cheetah to patch things up when I've grown dissatisfied with those platforms for whichever reason. I'd say my default is Golden Cheetah with the power graph and other metrics in a small window with some old Eurosport races on YouTube. And I suppose that's where this app will shine. If you're looking for something free that will distract you between intervals, here it is. On the free subscription, you can't run workouts through the app, so if you're training in a structured way, you'll need the files to prompt your intervals elsewhere, such as a cycling computer head unit. When it beeps at you to start or stop, start or stop. In between, enjoy the scenery. I've found the this app app to be a little buggy. I can usually bank on it crashing 1-2 times before successfully launching and pairing with the mobile app - which is required, by the way. I've seen some complaints about requiring the phone app and don't see the real sense in such an objection. That's only a bother if you're looking for a deeply immersive experience, like interacting with the virtual world, messaging ride partners, or the like. But if you're looking for something to break the monotony of training, this cuts the mustard. I haven't tried the social component yet, but you have to be a premium subscriber to schedule a group ride or race, but if your schedule allows you can hop into events that are already scheduled. That alone, I think, as a free option makes this far preferable to Zwift - where it's almost like social overload and too gamified - and TrainerRoad - where the power graphs are just so tedious that you might get faster but lose some IQ points in the process. The visual interface is pretty clean, and I really like the options just to cut all performance metrics from the screen and being able to watch your avatar just riding around. Mine looks a little goofy bouncing up and down when I start intervals, but it eventually balances out and sits his butt down again. 4/5 for the free version; 5/5 were it less prone to crashing at startup.
