What is GermsBlaster AR?

GermsBlaster AR is an app that helps users become hand hygiene experts by guiding them through five levels of challenges. The app uses Augmented Reality to visualize different types of germs and provides a dynamic hand rub tutorial inspired by the World Health Organization. The app is optimized for iPhone XS, Xr, and XS Max and is available in English and German.

Game Features and Description

1. Make your way through five thrilling levels all the way towards becoming a handhygiene expert! By passing these levels you get to know those moments of hand hygiene, that are the most important when it comes to active germ protection in medical institutions.

2. GermsBlaster AR was developed by 2 students of TUM in Germany Munich in cooperation with a german hospital, in order to support hand hygiene lectures in hospitals.

3. In order to keep your hands clean not only virtually, GermsBlaster AR provides a dynamic hand rub tutorial, inspired by World Health Organization.

4. In GermsBlaster AR different types of germs like virus and bacteria are being visualized using Augmented Reality featured by ArKit.

5. In a world full of dangerous germs like noro virus and tuberculosis bacteria you shall be better prepared.

6. The five game levels are inspired by the WHO "five moments of handhygiene".

7. By use of gamification interest and consciousness in hand hygiene shall be raised.

8. The stats provide you with game information like reached scores and achievements.

9. Overcome tough challenges and show your stats to friends and colleagues.

10. In the section quiz master you can test your handhygiene expertise.

Install GermsBlaster AR app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using GermsBlaster AR on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "GermsBlaster AR"
The search will reveal the GermsBlaster AR app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once GermsBlaster AR is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including GermsBlaster AR.
Now enjoy GermsBlaster AR on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use GermsBlaster AR,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "GermsBlaster AR" » then Click "Install".
- GermsBlaster AR will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
