2. With device backup, you can now store your photos, videos and contacts on a device in IONOS HiDrive.

3. With the integrated document scanner you can easily scan documents with your iPhone or iPad and save them as PDF in 1&1 IONOS HiDrive.

4. The encryption is created on your Windows HiDrive software and can be transferred by simple scanning via QR code.

5. The automatic camera upload allows you to automatically back up new recordings and albums from the device to your online storage.

6. Note: The IONOS HiDrive app must be active for this.

7. With end-to-end encryption you make your data secure against unauthorized access.

8. If necessary, you can easily restore these backups.

Install IONOS HiDrive app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "IONOS HiDrive"
The search will reveal the IONOS HiDrive app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once IONOS HiDrive is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including IONOS HiDrive.
Now enjoy IONOS HiDrive on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use IONOS HiDrive,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "IONOS HiDrive" » then Click "Install".
- IONOS HiDrive will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
