Install CoolLED1248 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using CoolLED1248 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "CoolLED1248"
- The search will reveal the CoolLED1248 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once CoolLED1248 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including CoolLED1248.
- Now enjoy CoolLED1248 on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use CoolLED1248,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "CoolLED1248" » then Click "Install".
- CoolLED1248 will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Mostly great, my DRM’d music blah

The utility is pretty great. I’m super happy to have it. I’m surprised by the number of panels I can sequence as animation.
Feedback for improvement:
i can’t find any editing feature to pan or shift all pixels at once in a given direction, so please consider adding that.
The music player, I don’t know what to say about it really. I have a massive library of music on device and nearly none of it can be played as it is linked to iTunes / Apple music.
Needs to be able to find only non-DRM music, or tap in inter app audio routing like Music2Bus or something. Please let me pipe in audio from a DAW like GarageBand or pick from folder that has DRM-free music.

I downloaded the new version. The light device connected easily to my phone, is user friendly and features work as described. You can enter many text strips that are saved so you can easily switch back and forth between them. The music worked well and didn’t glitch at all. Graffiti was editable so I could write or draw whatever I wanted.

The app works fairly well for controlling the LED display and let's you edit text and graphics manually. But you have to draw all your own pictures / animations except for the handful that are included. It would be wonderful if we could import gif files and/or be able to share and import graphics created in the app!

I read a few of the previous reviews and a lot of previous issues have been solved/ will be added!
Personally I loved the interface and immediately was able to sit down and make animations, graffitied, and even produce some asian text.
My dev request would
(1) HUGE- be able to scan or import images!!
(2) HUGE- function to cycle through a few different animations or images!
(3) minor: maybe enable the image to pulse to the music in the environment (if that’s possible lol)!
Love this new mask.
