Install altafiber Assist app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using altafiber Assist on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "altafiber Assist"
- The search will reveal the altafiber Assist app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once altafiber Assist is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including altafiber Assist.
- Now enjoy altafiber Assist on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native altafiber Assist Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use altafiber Assist,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "altafiber Assist" » then Click "Install".
- altafiber Assist will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

My WiFi has been giving me a lot of issues lately. When I called CincinnatiBell, the agent had me download this app, and it ran a scan. There was no login requirements or information I had to input. It didn’t take too long, and when it was done- It gave me a code to provide to the agent. Immediately she was able to tell me details about my router. She told me what all was connected, what has bad signal and what has good signal, and most importantly, they were able to tell me that my router had a frequency that was being used by my neighbor. She changed it on her side, and everything is working amazingly since!
