What is Leica DISTO Plan? The DISTO™ Plan app is a tool that helps in documenting and visualizing measurements. It allows users to create floor plans by sketching on a smartphone or tablet and assigning measurements to each line. The app also has a Smart Room functionality that enables users to create accurate floor plans by taking clockwise or counter-clockwise measurements of a room. The app supports all Leica DISTO™ devices with Bluetooth® functionality and allows measurements to be captured in 2D or 3D.

Software Features and Description

1. Alternatively, the innovative Smart Room functionality in combination with a newly integrated sensor in the Leica DISTO™ X3 and X4 makes it possible to create accurate floor plans simply by taking clockwise or counter-clockwise measurements of a room.

2. In combination with the DST 360 adapter or the DISTO™ S910, the app makes 3D measurement functionality available, allowing measurements to be captured in 2D or 3D.

3. The new DISTO™ Plan app assists with the vital tasks of documenting and visualising measurements.

4. Fingers can be used to sketch a floorplan on a smartphone or tablet and corresponding measurements are easily assigned to each line of the plan.

5. • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

6. • Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

7. • Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.

8. • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

9. The new app supports all Leica DISTO™ devices with Bluetooth® functionality.

10. • Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.

11. All measurements and floorplans can be exported as a CAD drawing or in a PDF format.

Install Leica DISTO Plan app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

Spend so much on a device and get let down

I have multiple disto devices and I was embarrassed to be shown by a colleague who owns a Bosch their app and work with it on some surveys. The the app app is so not user friendly. Seriously guys use the app in real world situations and tell me what you think. The measure on picture is so slow to use. Seriously there isn’t even a magnified view so you can put the end of the line in the right spot. Lines are connected you can’t draw separate lines easily. It’s just a nightmare I gave up. Plus this nonsense of paying for other features. We have just bough the most expensive laser devices on the planet and now we have to pay a few dollars on an app to use them. NO NO you have it all wrong.
Everything costs extra. Doesn’t save anything properly

I too had high hopes for this app and the Disto D2. Unfortunately once I received the D2 and loaded the app on my iPhone, I found that you get two basic functions for free and then they want you to pay either a monthly fee or an annual fee to use any of the other functions. So I tried to use just the basic plan and every time I try to measure a room and move it into a project it failed to save the existing room measurements so I had to redo multiple times. Don’t waste your money on the D2 or the app until they approve it. I’m probably going to send back the Disto D2
Why doesn’t the app have inches and fractions of an inch??

The actual device shows measurements in feet inches and fractions of an inch witch is what I need for the work I’m doing. It seems odd the app can not put the measurements in the same format. That is going to be a major flaw for the US market. Hopefully this gets added or the app is pretty much useless for my needs.
Rounding

It would be great if the app had an option for rounding fractions. For example, the the app X3 laser allows you to round to the nearest 1/16”, 1/8”, etc.
