Download and install the Classroom app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Classroom on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Classroom"
- The search will reveal the Classroom app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Classroom is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Classroom.
- Now enjoy Classroom on PC.

How to download and use Classroom App on Windows 11
To get Classroom on Windows 11, check if there's a native Classroom Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Classroom:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Classroom" » Click "Install" to install Classroom
- Classroom will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Sync Needed

Apple really needs to make this app sync so that teachers can use it on their iPads and computers. It is incredibly inconvenient to have to make students join twice if you want to use it on both devices. It would also be great if teachers could block specific websites.

Doesn't work

This app doesn't work. I've been trying to make it work for an hour now. It is suppose to automatically find the student so you can add to the class and it should pop up in system preferences and whelp that didn't happen. It doens't pick up other macBooks so I am unable to add them to the class. It is a real bummer.

Excited, but needs more

I was excited about the release of this app. When I first signed in, I was disappointed to see that all of my classes from my iPad didn't appear on my Mac. I am a librarian and I don't want to set up thirty classes again.
There also needs to be a way to manage MacBooks.

iPhone compatibility

This needs to be able to be compatible with iPhones! It's much easier to walk around my room with my phone in my hand rather than my iPad. And...when I have a substitute in the room I can still monitor what they're doing from my phone.
