Download and install the Classroom app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Classroom on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Classroom"
- The search will reveal the Classroom app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Classroom is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Classroom.
- Now enjoy Classroom on PC.

- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Classroom:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Classroom" » Click "Install" to install Classroom
- Classroom will now be available on your windows start-menu.

I am a student at a school that uses iPads in the this app, and so they use this too. I completely understand how they would feel the need to use this on students, since iPads can be often misused in educational settings. I personally would never be “off task” in class, and I signed the contract. The contract listed the rules, such as the locking and opening of iPads and viewing of screens. However, what we didn’t agree to was the modification of the iPad apps once class was over. Now, after school, I am prompted with an Allow Notifications window every time I launch a different app, and my folders are now black. I also can’t name the folders. Well, that’s past tense. Recently, when our teacher switched us into a different app while we were still locked, everything was fine. But, when we got back to the Home screen, the whole class had to start organizing all the apps again. All the apps were scattered around, and on my 128GB iPad, I now have to organize for hours. Well, for a stupid glitch that isn’t supposed to happen on a “management app” And then when it happens again, I’ll have to do the same, over and over again. Please fix this. It’s getting so annoying.

Good app, but needs just a few improvements.

I am a third grade teacher, and love to use this app. It makes my life so much easier when trying to navigate students to an app or website. When I use it and lock the app, so students can’t close it and get on something else it works beautifully. If I try and lock it on a website, students can click out of it. Students can click icons at the bottom of the webpages and manipulate their way out of the website to others. Needs to stop them if the address doesn’t contain the prefix to that website they were locked on. The other thing that would be helpful is an icon students can click on to send the teacher a message and vice versa, but not each other.

Great! Just needs one thing

I teach English to Chinese students over the internet. I am currently on the look for new software to help improve the classes. I stumbled upon this app and I really like it. I've played with it some and it works really well. The remote lock and navigation features are just what I need for my distracted students. There is just one thing missing: This app can only be used over a local network. I need to use it with an iPad on the other side of the world. If this one feature could be added, it would make make my job as a teacher so much easier!

Great but needs a few more features

I think that this app is AMAZING and all teachers that use iPads should be using this app!!
However, I would really like to see the following features in a future update:
1) the ability to navigate to a specific website then lock safari open.
2) The ability to close apps. You currently can lock the screen, but after you unlock the app is still open. I want the ability to force close an app and return to the home screen.
