Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Remot"
The search will reveal the Remot app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Remot is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Remot.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Remot,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Remot" » then Click "Install".
- Remot will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Handy and secure

The place I rent from started using these this year and they are really handy and secure. The app itself is ok; it’s fairly straightforward. There is a simple unlock button, an access list, and profile options. The homeowner or landlord can add or “move out” tenants to/from the list. Every person on the list who can open a particular door has a different passcode though, and I’m not sure how safe that is if you have several different codes that can all open the same door. The reason I’m leaving a review is because every time I’ve opened the app for the past while, I just get the loading spiral. However, I have re-downloaded it and all seems to be well. Just wanted to leave this here to help anyone.
It’s been okay until the crashes began

The this app app has been great to get into my home with. However, the app has been crashing every time I try booting it. I’ve tried deleting the app, turning off my phone, and everything under the sun and it still crashes. Not sure what’s going on.
Can’t remove access

I like the app overall but it’s not allowing to remove access for one of the people that was added to my account.
Had to delete and reinstall

Opened and just kept loading. Needed to deleted and reinstall. Works fine now.
