Install SunHome app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using SunHome on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SunHome"
- The search will reveal the SunHome app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once SunHome is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SunHome.
- Now enjoy SunHome on PC.

Unsure of whether the bad commenters are still having issues, or if bugs were fixed since then, but this app works fine for me. Confirmation email was received immediately (to the spam folder!) I was easily able to connect to Alexa and have her turn on my humidifier for the very first time :) I have the non wifi enabled humidifier and love it, pretty sure this one is going to be my new favorite thing!

I am not sure why people complain about not receiving activation email. I didn't either at first but then checked my junk folder. It read there. Once I activated it, adding my humidifier was registered by the app really and is now online. Controlling the humidifier is very simple. I haven't yet tried the Alexa or Google home integration but I only wanted the control through phone so it works for me.

Easy to use

So I decided to give this a 5 stars due to the fact of the connectivity and easy to use interface. I have it connected with my taotronics WiFi enabled humidifier and it works great whether it’s on the timer or the humidistat, it just works. Great app and even greater product. Only downfall but not enough to take away stars is the letters can be hard to read in the interface.

Needs improvement for Humidifer

Bought two humidifiers based on advertising saying they worked with Alexa. Well that’s only part true! The company offers a skill that you can open through Alexa to then control the humidifier, however as of 5 Jan 2019, the devices were “undiscoverable” independently, his can’t be integrated into rooms, scenes, etc. I reached out to Taotronics via DM on twitter and will amend review if it is user error, but based on several reviews and comments I’ve seen (after purchase) this has been a problem for many.
