Install SmartTub® app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SmartTub on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SmartTub"
The search will reveal the SmartTub® app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SmartTub is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SmartTub.
Now enjoy SmartTub on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SmartTub,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SmartTub" » then Click "Install".
- SmartTub® will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Rough around the edges, but mostly functional

It's buggy, but let's face it: Jacuzzi is not a software company. This is a convenience app, not something you depend on. For the price of their tubs, the size of the company, and the annual fee, I hope this will improve in time. I imagine the price of the service is for the cellular service, so I can't complain about that too much, but I still know they're making money on that fee. Keep it up, and see if they can add features for better color selection (would love to be able to choose pink) and speed of the cycling LED colors (right now it's only on or off)

I believe the coat is $35 per year after the first year. We have had our for about two months now and have no issues. Connectivity is great and it is nice to be able to check on spa status from an app and not have to navigate the menu on the tub. We just wish Jacuzzi would move the control panel off to the side rather than centered on the spot where you enter and exit the spa. That small change would make the spa more user friendly and would remove parental worries as the children climb in and out over the control panel. We love our J470!
iPhone and Apple Watch login bugs (workarounds)

Hope this helps others since this app support is unresponsive: When initially downloading, registering, and logging into the this app app on my iPhone, my hot tub wasn’t hooked up to the electrical yet. So I was in the endless loop when logging in that said “Something went wrong with the terms of service acceptance. Please accept again for the app to function properly.” When I would accept it would kick me back to the login screen. Once my hot tub had power, I was able to finally get past this and use the app. When trying to use my Apple Watch - I would get a message that no user was logged in, please login from my iPhone. (I was already logged in) I tried logging in/out of my iPhone several times but the watch kept giving me the error. I worked around this by logging out on my iPhone and kept pressing the retry on my watch as my iPhone was logging in. Hope that helps.
Unacceptable

“Can’t Talk to Tub Right now” is all I get from this app since recent update. I can’t even try to connect using Wi-Fi because they “improved” this by using cellular in the 2018 models. Soooo I paid extra and can’t use it... and after my first year I have to pay a yearly subscription on the part I paid extra for... I know I know, sour grapes... but I did verify with my dealer that I would be able to use Wi-Fi if there was an issue with cellular. There is not! Either way, it was working before update... now it is not .
