Install ParkAlbany app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using ParkAlbany on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ParkAlbany"
- The search will reveal the ParkAlbany app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once ParkAlbany is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ParkAlbany.
- Now enjoy ParkAlbany on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use ParkAlbany,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "ParkAlbany" » then Click "Install".
- ParkAlbany will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

It’s ok, still needs work

Nice to not have to keep running out to the meter, but they start the clock before you even finishing setting up your parking session. Also, the lock out period from the app if you miss the alert of your session ending is shady. They lock you out from adding time back on if your session runs out making it more likely to get a ticket between the time you either are able to load time back onto your parked car through the app or get out there to physically use the parking meter machines.

So happy that this is now an option. The app is very straightforward and paying this way makes visiting downtown exponentially easier and helps move it into the 21st century.

Albany? NY? GA?

It’s funny that the state is not mentioned anywhere. How do you know you’ve got the right city when there is more than one Albany is the world? Take the leap I guess. You’d think they would at least mention the place in the description. Just hope Albany, GA doesn’t come up with an app.
