Install SBTV app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SBTV on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SBTV"
The search will reveal the SBTV app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SBTV is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SBTV.
Now enjoy SBTV on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SBTV,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SBTV" » then Click "Install".
- SBTV will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Needs feature to float over other apps

This is a great way to watch your local news. It would be a great app if you could shrink the screen down and float it over other apps. When watching my local stations news does not live stream the whole program. Rather it blanks out every so often and just displays the this app logo. Then after a minute or to the program comes back. It would be good if the app could float over other apps so a person could do other things while “watching”.

I give this app 5 stars although very disappointed in the time its taken to restore the sound. I enjoy being able to find out what’s going on in other parts of our country from local reporters as opposed to national reporters living in and around New York City. It’s also a nice feature to be able to watch my local news when out of town.
Great News App

I really like being able to watch my local news as well as news from my hometown when traveling.
Not compatible with Chromecast

I like the this app app with the exception of the lack of feature of being able to beam live or taped newscasts onto my TV via Chromecast (which NewsON features with live newscasts). I wish there were more stations besides ones owned by Gray Television and Morgan Murphy Media.
