I Love this App as much as Rocket notebook

I have both the the Rocket and the this app. I like the Elfin better. The paper is more substantial as well as it has a lot more pages, both lined and blank. I like the number space column and the date space column. I like that pages are not numbered, but you can number them. They must have improved the app because thats seems to be the biggest concern from reading the past reviews. The app works GREAT! It dose just about everything the Rocket app does, expect once you save it then you direct it to the cloud. Its doesn’t have the symbol that automatically save it on the cloud. At least not yet, but no big deal all you do is share it to where you want it to go. I bought the this app X. I LOVE it! It comes with a beautiful leather six ring binder. I am a Hypnotherapist and I take notes and the pages are removable. When I am doing the Hypnosis process I need to read my notes and I record the session. I don’t want a spiral because you can hear the pages flipping. I need to be able to pull them out and then I can put them back in after I have saved them on the app and erased them. This is HUGE for me!
Better than Rocket Book

Elfin book is better than Rocket Book. I understand the folders and organization, I can snap photos from other books, paperwork, and even off of the board to store in my notes. I can use the Pdf attachments to upload to Notability, and I can navigate using voice over easily. As a legally blind person who sometimes struggles with accessibility in today’s age, I’m very happy I took a chance and bought two Elfin books. I was skeptical at first because Elfin books is a Chinese company and not from Silicon Valley, but I have zero regrets with this purchase. I recommend it to all my visually impaired friends. The only thing that would make this even more beneficial to the Blind community is if Elfin Books integrated some type of software that has an intelligent camera that would allow me to hear information about my environment and would read documents I placed under the camera. It would be nice if Seeing AI and Elfin Books would work together to make this happen.

First off when you go to bind your phone number to the app it brings up the e-mail. Then when you click email it brings up the option for the phone and then won’t let you type of use the options in any way. The basic snap a picture, it auto finds the border and allows for cropping works very well. I like that it’s very simple and if that is all you are after is storing the picture of your notes in an organized manner then this app is great. Anything beyond that yeah...don’t expect much. Basic management of moving and sorting files works fine. I have still yet to find the OCR function it supposedly uses. That needs to be in an easy like duh user friendly location. It’s not one of their tutorials and it’s obvious English was not the developers first language. And considering that this app continues to get not positive reviews they either don’t read their reviews, don’t care what the reviews say or don’t understand or care what we are telling them to fix to make their app better. So use the this app physical notebook but with another better designed.
Please fix these things!

Awesome app! But it’s very hard to get a picture to take when on batch mode. Let me take the snap myself. Also, the easier to export to good drive, for me, the better. It’s a bit of a lengthy process.
